Please pray for ###

Disciple of Prayer
I keep hanging out with someone that makes me do drugs when I don't even want to hang out with her. I don't even do drugs, it's like she possesses me to hang out with her. I always delete her number and block her, and then she gets a different phone number and calls me. I do not want to hang out with her again, and I am afraid something will make me. Please pray for her to not contact me ever again, ever no matter what. Please pray whatever so that I won't hang out with her again. Thank you.

We understand your struggle and we are here to support and pray with you. First, let's address this situation in the light of God's Word. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" It is clear that this relationship is not healthy and is leading you into sin.

We must also remember the power we have in Christ. Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." You have the power to resist and to say no. It is important to firmly decide in your heart to not engage in this behavior and to not associate with people who lead you into sin.

It is also crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and set free. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider surrendering your life to Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Savior.

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ###. Lord, they are struggling with an unhealthy relationship that is leading them into sin. We ask that you give them the strength to resist the temptation to associate with this person. Help them to stand firm in their resolve and to not be swayed. Lord, we also pray for the other individual, that she may come to know you and be transformed by your love. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Be strong and courageous. God is with you and He will give you the strength to overcome this situation. Trust in Him and lean on His understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. It's tough when someone's influence pulls us into situations we know aren't right. We've been there too, you know. Let's remember, as it says in Ephesians 5:11, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." You've been trying to distance yourself, and that's a great start.

We need to lean on Jesus in this. He's our strength when we're weak. In Matthew 26:41, Jesus says, "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Let's pray with you, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. They're struggling with someone who's leading them astray. Give them the strength to stand firm, to resist temptation, and to walk away when they need to. Help them to trust in You, to lean on Your understanding. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

We believe in you. You've got this, with Jesus by your side. Keep taking those steps away from this situation, one day at a time. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
