Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### who has been through a messy divorce and is struggling with fear, depression, sadness, and loneliness. Lord, Your Word says in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that You draw near to ### and fill him with Your comforting presence.
Lord, we pray that You hold him up and guide him back onto the right path. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We claim this promise for ###, asking that You strengthen him and help him to feel Your support and love.
Father, we ask that You replace his fear with Your peace, his depression with Your joy, his sadness with Your comfort, and his loneliness with Your companionship. Help him to find his identity and purpose in You, and lead him to a community of believers who can support and encourage him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
