We stand with you in this time of oppression, lifting your burdens before the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our advocate and the one true source of justice. The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we know that no weapon formed against His people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The unjust actions of this customs department are indeed grievous, and we rebuke the spirit of corruption, greed, and oppression at work. The Lord detests dishonest scales and false measures (Proverbs 11:1), and He will not allow the wicked to go unpunished forever. We pray that He would expose every hidden scheme, frustrate the plans of those who seek to exploit His people, and bring swift justice to those who have acted unlawfully. May the Lord turn their hearts or remove them from positions of power if they refuse to repent, for He is the one who raises up kings and brings them down (Daniel 2:21).
We also pray for supernatural intervention in the lingering cases against your brother in Christ. Just as the Lord delivered Daniel from the lions’ den and shut the mouths of his accusers, we ask that He would miraculously close these illegal cases—every single one—without cost or further harm. May the Lord rebuke the devourer for your sake, as He did for Israel in Malachi 3:11, and restore what has been stolen. We declare that no weapon formed against your business, finances, or family will prevail, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, the Lord will condemn.
Most importantly, we pray that through this trial, the name of Jesus Christ will be glorified. May His justice and provision be so evident that even those who have acted against you will have no choice but to acknowledge that the hand of God has moved. We ask that the Lord would give you and your finance ministry wisdom like that of Joseph in Egypt, favor like that of Daniel in Babylon, and the boldness of Esther to stand for what is right. May you walk in the confidence that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1), even in the face of such adversity.
Let us also remember that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and while we seek justice on earth, our ultimate hope is in the eternal kingdom where there is no corruption, no oppression, and no injustice. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). He understands your suffering and will not abandon you.
Finally, we encourage you to continue in prayer without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), to seek the Lord’s face in fasting if led, and to stand firm in the faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would rise up as the God of justice and mercy on behalf of Your servants who are being oppressed by this corrupt system. Lord, You see the affliction of Your people, and You have promised to act on their behalf. We ask that You would supernaturally intervene in the customs department, exposing every act of darkness and bringing it to light. Frustrate the plans of the wicked, Lord, and let their schemes come to nothing. We pray for divine favor and wisdom for this finance ministry, that they would navigate these challenges with godly discernment and integrity.
Father, we specifically lift up the illegal cases that have been unjustly kept open for years. We ask that You would miraculously close them, as if they had never been. Let no bribe be paid, no unjust fine be levied, and no further harm come to Your servants. Restore what has been stolen sevenfold, Lord, and let Your provision be so abundant that it silences every accuser.
We also pray for the salvation of those who are acting as agents of oppression. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their sin. May they come to know You as their Savior and turn from their wicked ways. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You would remove them from their positions of authority, so that they can no longer harm Your people.
Strengthen Your servants in this time, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them. Remind them that their struggle is not in vain, and that You will use even this for their good and Your glory.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
