My 40 year old husband had a massive stroke today. He is in ICU and currently unresponsive. We have 2 children ages 8 and 5. We need all the prayers that we can get.

Guest - I know what you are going through. My husband had a stroke on March 4th and is still recovering. Don't give up! Give it to the Lord! It takes a long time to recover but since Bob has had his stroke we have met many who have gone through the same thing. It was a great comfort to me to talk to others who have been on the same path, how they coped and what they did to get through it. Medicine nowadays makes the difference and we found that therapy as soon as possible also makes a difference. We had good therapists who were patient and kind. I stand with you today. Trust in God. You are not alone!
Lord, I bring this family to you this morning seeking a miracle. You have been with me every day of recovery for my husband and now this woman needs your mighty hand.
Be with the doctors who are treating him, be with the nursing staff for his care. Protect him during his slumber. Only you, Lord, know what is going on in his mind, body and spirit. Lord, give this woman a simple sign that she knows he is there. Show the medical staff the way to treat him. Pour out your love over this family. Lead, guide and direct them. Give them mercy and grace. And, Lord, hold on to them. This is the hardest thing this woman has ever faced in her life. His husband is fighting for his life. Let her feel your presence, Lord. She needs you and she needs to know you are there with her. Be with their families. Hold them in your protective arms. Let her lean on you. Send her friendly faces and caring hearts to share this burden. She will never be alone as long as you are with her. Thank you for that. A-men

Father, I am in complete agreement with my brothers and sisters for this family. Please send the Holy Spirit to heal this husband and father. I thank You for Your willingness to heal the sick and infirmed. I thank You that You will heal this family and protect them with Your peace. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
