We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. We thank you for the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to intercede for healing and restoration. Your mother’s advanced age and current health struggles weigh on our spirits, and we join you in crying out for the Lord’s mercy and divine intervention.
Heavenly Father, we declare that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers our days. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious sister in Christ. Lord, we rebuke the inflammation in her bile duct and command it to cease in the mighty name of Jesus. We speak life and wholeness to every cell, tissue, and organ in her body. We pray for her blood pressure to stabilize, that it would return to normal levels and remain steady under Your watchful care. Strengthen her body, Lord, and restore the vitality that the enemy has sought to steal.
We also lift up her anemia before You, asking that You would replenish her blood and renew her strength. Father, we know that You are not a God of confusion but of peace, and we ask that You would calm any anxiety or emotional distress she may be experiencing. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and grant her comfort as she receives treatment. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and nurses attending to her, that every decision they make would be guided by Your Spirit. May they be instruments of Your healing power, Lord, and may Your will be done in every aspect of her care.
We also stand in agreement for her discharge from the hospital, asking that You would prepare the way for her to return home in Your perfect timing. Protect her, Lord, from any complications or setbacks, and grant her a smooth transition to recovery. We lift up her family members and caregivers as well, asking that You would strengthen them, give them wisdom, and fill them with Your peace as they support her during this time.
Father, we are grateful for the testimony of your mother’s life, that she has been a vessel for the gospel and a light in this world. We ask that You would continue to use her for Your glory, even in this season of weakness. Renew her strength like the eagle’s, and let her witness be a testament to Your faithfulness. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your mercies are new every morning over her life.
Lord, we thank You for the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, which says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over her life today. We also stand on Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* By the stripes of Jesus, we declare her healed and whole.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist every attack of the enemy and declare that this sickness has no place in her body.
Father, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. Draw her close to You, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Speak to her heart, comfort her soul, and remind her of Your unfailing love. May this trial draw her nearer to You and deepen her faith in Your promises.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be made manifest in her life. We declare that she is healed, whole, and restored, for Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."*
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray and believe. Amen.
