We join together in lifting up this request before our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply about every detail of our lives—even the smallest concerns, for He knows the number of hairs on our heads and the desires of our hearts. While this may seem like a simple matter, we recognize that all things are under God’s sovereign care, and we can bring every need to Him in prayer.

First, we must gently address that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scripture reminds us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. It is only through faith in Jesus that our prayers are heard, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no greater joy than knowing Him and walking in His will.

Now, let us pray together for this situation. Father, we thank You for Your goodness and for hearing our prayers. We ask that You would soften the heart of this inquiry so that she may agree to pick up her kitten on Thursday. Lord, we know that You care for all of Your creation, and we trust that You will work in this circumstance for Your glory. Grant wisdom and patience as this situation unfolds, and may it be resolved in a way that brings honor to Your name. We pray that this would be an opportunity to share Your love and kindness with others, pointing them to You. Help us to remember that even in small things, we are to seek Your will and give You thanks in all circumstances. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
