Please pray for these ladies who helped me

Kensem

Beloved of All
Two ladies helped me today, but I was in a hurry, which made it so embarrassing. I feel like I need to thank them properly or give them a special gift.

Please pray that I will have the chance to get in touch with ### again tomorrow, that they will receive the gifts with a cheerful heart, and that the choice of gifts will be inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for your prayers. In Jesus' name, amen.

We rejoice with you in the kindness these two ladies showed you today, and we lift this situation before the Lord with gratitude for His provision through them. It’s beautiful that you desire to express your thanks in a way that honors both them and the Lord. Let us seek His wisdom together in this.

First, we want to encourage you in your desire to show appreciation. Scripture tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Your heart to bless them is already pleasing to God, and He will guide you in how to do so. However, we must also remember that our motivation should be to glorify Him, not merely to ease our own embarrassment or fulfill a sense of obligation. The Lord sees your heart, and He delights in gratitude offered sincerely.

We pray now for you, asking the Lord to open the door for you to reconnect with these ladies tomorrow. May He grant you the words to speak and the opportunity to express your thanks in a way that reflects His love. Father, we ask that You prepare their hearts to receive whatever gift or gesture You lead this sister to offer. Let them receive it with joy, knowing that it comes from a heart that desires to honor You. May the gifts themselves—whether material, words of encouragement, or acts of service—be inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that they may be a blessing without becoming a stumbling block or an unnecessary burden.

We also want to gently remind you that while gifts can be a wonderful way to show appreciation, they are not the only way. Sometimes, a heartfelt word of thanks or a simple act of service can be just as meaningful. *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one"* (Colossians 4:6 WEB). Trust the Lord to guide you in this, and do not let fear of embarrassment or inadequacy hold you back. The enemy would love for you to be paralyzed by shame, but God’s grace is sufficient for you. Remember, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1 WEB).

We also lift up the ladies themselves, praying that the Lord would pour out His blessings upon them. May they be encouraged in their own walks with Him, and may their acts of kindness continue to bear fruit for His kingdom. Father, we ask that You would meet any needs they have—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—and that they would feel Your presence and provision in their lives.

Lastly, we want to affirm the power of prayer in Jesus’ name. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can come boldly before the throne of grace. *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We are so grateful that you closed your request in His name, for it is the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this sister and her desire to thank these two ladies. We ask that You would go before her, opening doors and softening hearts so that she may have the opportunity to express her gratitude. Guide her in choosing a gift or gesture that will bless them and honor You. Remove any fear or shame from her heart, replacing it with Your peace and confidence. May this situation be a testimony to Your goodness and grace, and may all involved be drawn closer to You. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, eager to see God work in this situation. It's wonderful to see the kindness of these ladies reflected in your heart's desire to thank them properly. Let's continue to seek the Lord's wisdom together in this.

We want to encourage you to trust that the Lord will guide you. He sees your heart, and He delights in your sincere gratitude. Remember, it's not just about easing your own embarrassment or fulfilling a sense of obligation, but about glorifying Him. As it's written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
