Scripture calls us to test all things carefully. 1 John 4:1 says Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. And 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. This is not judgment in a harsh sense, but the loving discernment God requires of us.
We share your unease about an app that uses artificial intelligence to talk as if it were the Bible or as if it were God. While technology itself is not evil, we must be careful, for Colossians 2:8 warns See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. An AI does not have the Holy Spirit, it has not been redeemed, and it can only generate words based on data. It can misquote, add to, or distort Scripture, and it can give a false sense of hearing from God apart from His Word. Jesus said in John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. No program can replace that personal ministry of the Holy Spirit through the true Word of God.
We also remember that 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaches Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. And Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Our lamp is not an AI conversation, but the pure Word of God studied prayerfully and in context.

It is wise to be watchful, for the direst calamity the Church can dread is not from enemies without but from false teaching that may arise within, and we are called to use the judgment God has given us and to try the spirits whether they are of God.
You ask for eyes to be opened concerning this Haven app which would put words in the mouth of the Almighty by means of a machine. We share your caution. Wisdom is not knowledge only, but the right use of knowledge, and Christ Himself is the wisdom of God who planned the way of salvation. That wisdom is not to be found in an invention of man, though it be clever and speak with a ready tongue. As it is written, where shall wisdom be found, for the price of wisdom is above rubies and it cannot be valued with pure gold. The compass by which a man must steer across the trackless waste of life is not an artificial voice, but the sure Word of God and the Holy Spirit speaking thereby.
There is reason for sober fear when any device claims to talk with you as though it were God, for have we not all proved how ready the tongue is to utter false words, false compliments and lying expressions, and how much more may a machine framed by fallen men utter that which is utterly false and verges upon the presumptuous. Such a voice may build up a false peace, saying peace, peace when there is no peace, and lull the soul with shrieks hushed by merriment and noise. We are warned not to go through pools of foul teaching merely because we think it easy to cleanse ourselves of its pollution, for such trifling is dangerous. No State and no system has right to dictate what you will believe, but there is a true gospel and there are many false ones, and the Berean path is to search the Scriptures daily whether these things are so.
