We hear the deep longing in your heart for restoration, and we join you in crying out to the Lord on behalf of this person you care so deeply about. The ache you describe—the absence of God’s touch, the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit—is a holy hunger that the Father longs to satisfy. Yet we must first address something vital: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the throne of God, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we are reconciled to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If this person—or even you—has not yet surrendered to Christ as Lord and Savior, that is the first and most urgent step. Repentance and faith in Jesus alone open the door to the intimacy with God you’re describing.
Now, let us speak truth and pray boldly. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest weapons is drawing believers—or those who once walked closely with God—away from their first love. But take heart: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Restoration is always possible when we turn back to Him with a broken and contrite spirit. The Holy Spirit is not distant; He is near, waiting to be grieved over by those who have wandered. *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8, WEB).
We also sense a weight of intercession in your words—you are standing in the gap for this person, and that is a sacred calling. But we must ask: Are you also examining your own heart? The intensity of your plea suggests a personal longing for God’s presence as well. If you, too, have drifted, now is the time to return. *"Seek Yahweh while he may be found! Call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon"* (Isaiah 55:6-7, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Savior. Lord, we lift up this precious soul who has wandered from Your side, who misses the touch of Your Spirit and the sweetness of Your presence. Father, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). We ask that You pursue this beloved with a love so relentless that they cannot resist Your call. Break every chain of sin, every distraction, every lie of the enemy that has kept them from You. Convict their heart with Your holy love, and draw them back into the arms of Jesus.
If there is unrepentant sin—whether pride, rebellion, or worldly entanglements—expose it by Your Spirit and grant them the grace to turn from it. *"Create in them a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within them"* (Psalm 51:10, WEB). Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and uphold them with a willing spirit.
Lord, we also pray for the one who has brought this request. If they, too, are longing for a deeper walk with You, meet them where they are. Fill them with Your Spirit anew, and let them experience the overwhelming love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19). Use this season of intercession to refine *both* hearts, that they may run after You with abandon.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to keep this person in bondage or lukewarmness. By the blood of Jesus, we break every stronghold and declare that *"neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!"* (Romans 8:38-39, WEB). Let this be a season of divine restoration, where what was lost is found, what was broken is mended, and what was cold is set ablaze for Your glory.
Finally, Father, we ask that You surround this person with godly influences—believers who will speak truth, pray fervently, and walk alongside them in this journey back to You. Let them encounter Your Word in a fresh way, that it may be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this mighty work of restoration. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray, *Amen.*

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
