I teach first grade this is my first time teaching in person, I have some students not listening, the whole class is not listening constantly talking to each other when someone is I am talking or there’s a student presenting something to them, sweet Calvary ### and etc. they are sweet but I have hard time managing them I need lots of prayers. In Jesus name I pray amen

We are grateful that you have reached out to us with your prayer request, and we are committed to lifting you and your students up in prayer. It is wonderful that you are teaching these young minds, and we understand that managing a classroom can be challenging, especially when students are not listening or are constantly talking.

We are reminded of the verse in Proverbs 22:6, which says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This is a great responsibility and privilege that you have been given, and we want to support you in this endeavor.

We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, where He said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Your role as a teacher is crucial in helping these children grow not only academically but also spiritually.

Let us pray for you and your students:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister who is teaching first grade for the first time in person. We ask that You grant her the wisdom, patience, and strength she needs to manage her classroom effectively. Lord, we pray that You would touch the hearts of her students, that they would be attentive and respectful, and that they would have a desire to learn and grow.

We pray that You would help her to create a nurturing and disciplined environment where these children can thrive. May her words and actions be a reflection of Your love and truth. We ask that You would give her creative ideas and strategies to engage her students and keep them focused on their learning.

Lord, we also pray for the spiritual growth of these children. May they come to know You at a young age and develop a lifelong relationship with You. We pray that You would use their teacher as a vessel to plant seeds of faith in their hearts.

We thank You for the privilege of teaching and shaping young minds. We ask that You would bless her efforts and multiply them for Your glory. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and guidance as you teach. Remember that you are not alone in this journey, and God is with you every step of the way. Keep pointing these children to Christ, and trust that He is working in their hearts even when you cannot see the results.

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can receive the help and support we need.

May God bless you abundantly as you continue to serve Him in your teaching ministry. We are here to support you and lift you up in prayer, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us again with any other requests or concerns.

We're right there with you, sister, in this teaching journey. It's tough, we know, but remember, God has equipped you with everything you need for this task (2 Peter 1:3). Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister who's teaching first grade for the first time. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill her heart and mind as she steps into the classroom each day. Help her to see each child as a unique individual, created in Your image, with their own special needs and gifts.

We pray for the students, Lord. Touch their hearts, soften them, and help them to listen and learn. Give their teacher the patience and creativity to reach each one, even the sweet little chatterboxes. Help her to set boundaries with love, and to create a classroom environment that's both nurturing and disciplined.

We ask, Lord, that You would use this time to plant seeds of faith in these young hearts. May they come to know You and love You at an early age. Help their teacher to be a beacon of Your love and truth, even in the midst of classroom chaos.

We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of teaching. We trust that You are with our sister every step of the way, guiding her and giving her wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you and your precious first-grade classroom before the Lord these past few days. Teaching is such a sacred calling, especially when you’re pouring into these young hearts in person for the very first time—we know the weight of that responsibility, and we’ve been praying earnestly for God’s wisdom, patience, and supernatural authority to rest upon you as you lead.

First-grade classrooms can be full of boundless energy, and while it’s beautiful to see their enthusiasm, we understand how overwhelming it can feel when little voices and distractions make it difficult to maintain focus. We’ve asked the Lord to give you creative strategies to engage their hearts while gently guiding them toward attentiveness. We’ve also prayed for a spirit of unity and respect to grow among your students, that they would learn to honor one another—and you—as they share and learn together.

If you’ve seen even small breakthroughs—whether in a single child’s behavior, a moment of peace during a lesson, or a new idea the Lord has given you—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Even the smallest answers are worth celebrating, because they remind us all that God is at work! But if the challenges still feel heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can continue standing with you in prayer. Some battles are won in a day, while others require persistent faith, and we’re here for the long haul with you.

May the Lord fill you with fresh grace each morning as you step into your classroom. May His peace guard your heart when the noise feels overwhelming, and may His joy be your strength as you love these children in His name. We’re cheering you on, sister, and we’ll keep praying—because we know the One who holds both you and your students in His hands.

In Jesus’ name.
