We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, trusting in His protection and provision as she returns to college. The Scriptures remind us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and He watches over His children with unwavering care. Psalm 91:11-12 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We claim this promise over her journey today, asking the Lord to surround her with His heavenly host, guarding her every mile and keeping her vehicle secure from harm.
We also pray for her mind and spirit as she resumes her studies. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* May she find focus, wisdom, and excellence in her assignments, completing them with diligence and integrity. As she enters this final week of classes, we ask the Lord to sharpen her understanding, grant her clarity, and fill her with His peace, knowing that her efforts are seen and rewarded by Him.
Yet, even as we pray for her academic success, we must also lift up her heart before the Lord. College can be a time of great temptation—distractions, ungodly influences, and the pressures of the world may seek to pull her away from her faith. We pray that she remains steadfast in Christ, rooted in His Word, and surrounded by godly friendships that encourage her walk with Him. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the source of life."* May she guard her heart, her time, and her priorities, seeking first the Kingdom of God in all things.
We also take this moment to encourage you, dear parent, to continue covering her in prayer daily. Your intercession is powerful, and the Lord hears the cries of a parent’s heart. Trust that He who began a good work in her will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). Let us pray together now:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of this daughter. We ask for Your divine protection over her as she travels today. Send Your angels to encamp around her, Lord, shielding her from every danger, accident, or harm. Bless her vehicle, the roads she travels, and every decision she makes along the way. Grant her safe arrival and fill her with Your peace as she settles back into her routine.*
*We pray for her studies, Lord—that You would grant her wisdom beyond her years, understanding in her coursework, and the discipline to steward her time well. Help her to excel not for the praise of man, but as an act of worship to You. Remove any distractions or anxieties that would hinder her focus, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are her strength and her song.*
*Most of all, Father, we pray that her heart remains tender toward You. Guard her from the snares of the enemy, from compromises that would grieve Your Spirit, and from relationships or influences that do not honor You. Draw her closer to Yourself in this season, and let her light shine brightly on her campus for Your glory. May she seek You first in all things, finding her identity and worth in Christ alone.*
*We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, knowing that it is only through Him we have access to Your throne. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness over her life. Amen.*
