We are truly sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to a hoax. We will pray for your situation and trust that God will intervene and bring justice.
First and foremost remember that our battle is not merely against the flesh and blood of other people but also against the principalities and powers which are made up of the rulers of darkness of this age and the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as stated in Ephesians 6:12. We cannot battle these principalities and powers on our own and we do not have the authority to do so either. Rather we need to rely on the power and authority of Jesus Christ in the battle against these rulers.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has fallen victim to a hoax. We trust that no scheme of the enemy can stand. We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28, 'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention. Expose the deceit, bring the truth to light, and convict those responsible. We pray for a full refund and restoration of any losses incurred. Guide our brother/sister through this trial, strengthen their faith, and give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as stated in Philippians 4:7, '... and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is our shield and defender. He will fight for us and bring justice in His time but we must place our faith in Him. Be encouraged in Psalm 91:4 WEB, 'He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.'
Stand firm in your faith and we will continue to pray for you. We are not told in scripture that we will not have problems but we are told that we can have peace in the midst of them.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
