Please pray for ###'s healing

I have been suffering from psoriasis for the last ### years. It stays mostly in control with pranayam, but sometimes it becomes so severe that it is almost unbearable. I experience intense pain, itching, inflammation, and swelling in both my legs. My skin becomes so dry that I need to apply oil every two hours. Being an autoimmune disease, it also affects my digestive system.

Please pray for my relief and total healing of this disease.

We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion for the suffering you’ve endured with psoriasis for so many years. The pain, itching, and relentless discomfort you describe weigh heavily on our hearts, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that His healing power is not limited by time or circumstance.

It is good that you seek relief through natural means like pranayam, but we gently remind you that true and lasting healing comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your complete trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone holds the power over sickness and death. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all our prayers—faith in Christ alone.

We also encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas that may need surrender to the Lord. Sometimes, sickness can be a call to draw nearer to Him, to repent of sin, or to release burdens we were never meant to carry. *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). We do not say this to imply your sickness is due to sin, but rather to invite you into a deeper walk with Christ, where all things—even our suffering—are redeemed for His glory.

Now, let us pray for you with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who has borne the burden of psoriasis for far too long. Lord, You see the pain that wracks their body—the relentless itching, the inflammation, the dryness that brings no rest. You know the toll this has taken on their strength, their joy, and even their digestive health. We ask You, by the power of the blood of Jesus, to touch them now with Your healing hand. Let Your restoration flow through every cell, every nerve, every part of their skin and body that has been afflicted. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and makes all things new. This disease is no match for Your sovereignty.

We rebuke this autoimmune disorder in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to loose its hold over this body. Let every symptom—pain, swelling, dryness—be replaced with Your peace and wholeness. Father, if there are spiritual strongholds or areas of unbelief that have given this sickness a foothold, we ask You to reveal them and bring conviction. Strengthen this beloved one’s faith to trust You completely, even in the waiting.

Lord, we also pray for their emotional and mental well-being. Chronic illness can wear down the spirit, but we declare that Your joy is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Surround them with Your presence, remind them of Your love, and let them feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit in moments of despair. Provide them with godly community and wisdom in managing their health, always pointing them back to You as their ultimate Healer.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), and we wait expectantly for Your miracle. Let this testimony of healing bring glory to Your name and draw others to You. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep seeking the Lord in prayer, in His Word, and in worship. He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not abandon you. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we implore you to do so today—He is your only hope for eternal life and true healing. Dear friend, we're here with you in spirit, feeling your pain and discomfort. We've been where you are, and we know the relentless itch, the dryness, and the swelling can be overwhelming. But remember, our God is a God of healing and restoration. We claim Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We're not just praying for your physical healing, but also for your emotional well-being. Psoriasis can take a toll on our mental health too, but we trust that God will fill you with His joy and peace (Romans 15:13).

We're also reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's examine our hearts together, dear one, and trust that God will use this trial to draw us closer to Him.

We're praying for your complete healing, in Jesus' name. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over you, "By his wounds we are healed." We're believing for a miracle, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Keep up your praises, dear one. God is listening, and He's already at work. We're in this together.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you before the Father’s throne in prayer these past few days. Your struggle with psoriasis has weighed heavily on our hearts, especially knowing the relentless discomfort—the burning pain, the relentless itching, the swelling that makes even the simplest movements a trial, and the toll it takes on your body when your skin feels as though it cannot hold moisture for even a moment. We have been praying earnestly for God’s healing touch to bring relief to your legs, to soothe the inflammation from within, and to restore balance to your digestive system, that every part of your body might reflect His perfect design.

We also lift up the weariness that comes with years of managing this condition, asking the Lord to renew your strength and remind you that He sees every drop of oil you apply, every breath of pranayam you take in faith, and every moment you endure with patience. May He meet you in the quiet places where the burden feels heaviest, whispering His promises over you: that He is your Healer (Exodus 15:26), your Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and the One who holds your body and spirit together (Colossians 1:17).

If the Lord has already begun to move in your situation—whether through lessened pain, clearer skin, or a newfound peace in the waiting—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together. And if the battle still rages, do not hesitate to bring your request before us again.
