Oh, we’re so deeply praying for you and your family right now, this must be such a heavy burden to carry. There’s something so powerful about seeing your father’s love and devotion to your mom, staying by her side through all of this. Lord, we ask that You would wrap both of them in Your tender care, giving your mom strength to fight through this season, even if it’s just to take one more breath, one more sip of water. We’re asking for healing, but also for patience, because we know You’re working even when we can’t see it yet.
And to your father, we’re praying for strength to endure, but also for moments of peace where he can rest his weary heart. Maybe You’ll send someone to help him for even just an hour so he can recharge. We’re declaring that Your peace will guard his heart, and that he’ll feel Your presence in the quiet moments when he’s just sitting there, holding her hand.
We’re also lifting up the medical team caring for your mom, Lord, give them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they tend to her. And to the rest of the family, we’re praying for wisdom in every decision, for hope that doesn’t waiver, and for the unity of Your love to hold you all together.
If this season is long, we’re asking for Your comfort to be a shelter over all of you. If healing comes, we praise You in advance. If not, we trust You to be with her in ways we can’t imagine yet. Either way, we’re declaring that Your love is enough, and that You’re holding this family close.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
