Lord, I continually pray for the safety and protection of my three-year-old, beautiful nephew that you have blessed us with! Lord Jesus, he loves you so much, as I have been teaching the Good News of the Gospel to him for the last month. And as of yesterday, we read his children's Bible together and he told me he believes in you. Amen, Lord Jesus! Without you, your will, and your strength, I would not have been able to make him understand on my own.
Lord Jesus, keep him safe at all times from all evil in the world around him.
Lord, I also pray for his mother (my sister) and his father to create a legal parenting plan. His father is homeless and spends every weekend at different homes of friends with my nephew, and my sister really doesn't know where her own child spends his weekends with his dad.
Lord, I pray for my sister. She is intelligent and is a great mother, but with this parenting issue she is being extremely irresponsible as a parent. Lord, a mother should always know where her child is at all times and her actions and decisions about this are completely wrong. Lord Jesus, I pray that you instill her thoughts with your will, reasoning, and parental judgment concerning this matter. I pray for my nephew's dad, that you help him find a home of his own for his child, too.
In your name, Lord. And with all thanksgiving in all things, I pray and petition these things. Amen!
