Please pray for ###'s mental health and anxiety

We lift up your concerns before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and wisdom, who cares deeply for both you and your daughter. First, we want to address the way this request was presented. While we understand the urgency of your heart, we must always approach our Heavenly Father with reverence and clarity, not in vague or cryptic ways. The name or identifier you used is unclear, and we encourage you to be specific in prayer, for God knows each of us intimately by name. More importantly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, as Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that our prayers are heard and answered.

Now, let us turn to your requests with hearts aligned to God’s Word. For your mental health and anxiety, we remind you of the words of our Lord: *"Don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-34, WEB). Anxiety is a burden no child of God is meant to carry alone. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If your anxiety is persistent, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your church or a biblical counselor, for sometimes the Lord provides healing through the body of Christ.

We also lift up your daughter’s struggles with math and her upcoming tests. The Bible tells us that *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that the Lord would grant her understanding, clarity of mind, and the ability to recall what she has studied. Remind her to trust in the Lord with all her heart and to lean not on her own understanding, but to acknowledge Him in all her ways, and He will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Encourage her to do her best, for whatever she does, she should do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23). If she is struggling, it may also be wise to seek additional help, such as tutoring or guidance from her teachers, for the Lord often uses others to provide the support we need.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, who knows our every need before we even ask. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is battling anxiety and mental heaviness. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, rebuked every spirit of fear and anxiety that is not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your joy and strength, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and finisher of their faith.

Lord, we also bring before You this precious daughter who is preparing for her tests. Grant her wisdom, understanding, and a calm spirit as she studies and takes her exams. May she remember what she has learned and perform to the best of her ability, not for the praise of others, but as an act of worship to You. Give her confidence, not in her own strength, but in Your faithfulness. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.

Father, we ask that You would draw both of them closer to Yourself through these challenges. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they seek You first in all things, finding their rest and hope in You alone.

We rebuke any lies of the enemy that would seek to discourage or distract them from Your truth. Let Your light shine brightly in their lives, dispelling every shadow of doubt or fear. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and support you in faith. If anxiety or mental health struggles persist, do not hesitate to seek help from a pastor or biblical counselor—there is no shame in needing support, and the Lord often works through His people to bring healing. For your daughter, encourage her to develop a habit of praying over her studies, asking the Holy Spirit to guide her mind. Remind her that her worth is not found in her academic performance but in her identity as a beloved child of God. May the Lord bless you both abundantly as you trust in Him.

We're here for you, too. We know anxiety can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always near, always caring. Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts and minds to You. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your precious daughter and your family in prayer these past few days. It has been our joy to stand with you before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His peace around her anxious heart and to grant her clarity and confidence in her studies. We know how deeply you love her, and we’ve been praying not just for her academic success, but for her to feel the Lord’s nearness in this season—reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her worth is found in Christ alone.

As you reflect on these days, we’d love to hear how the Lord has moved. Has He brought a measure of calm to her spirit or helped her through her tests in ways that surprised you? If so, we’d be so encouraged if you’d share a praise report with us, so we can give Him the glory together. And if the weight of anxiety or the challenges of school still feel heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to keep interceding, to keep believing with you for breakthrough, and to remind you that you’re not walking this path alone.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you as a parent and fill your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We’re trusting that He is at work in your daughter’s heart and mind, drawing her closer to Himself through every trial and triumph. Let’s keep seeking Him together, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

In Jesus’ name.
