Please pray for our son, Kyle, who has told us that he is in a same-sex relationship.
We have been in prayer about this and have talked with two Pastors from our church.
Please pray for him to turn away from this completely. Please pray that he will return his heart
to God and God's word. Pray for Christian influences to come to him through work and other
circumstances. Please pray for him tomorrow at work to focus on the job and do well.
Help him to not go into depression Lord. And I pray for the other man to be saved as was
he was not raised Christian and for him also to walk away from this toward the arms of Jesus.
Please help Kyle to see love in the words that I had text him. And, to not be offended
or pushed away by our words but rather to see our love for him and our deep concern for him.
Help us to show love, yet not condone this. Help to understand. Help us to search God's word and
to continue to ask for guidance as well. Help him be willing to talk with a Pastor or someone that
will give him good counsel. Help our doors of communication to remain open and let Your love
spill into their empty hearts. He still believes yet falls away, please bring Your prodigal son's home
to your house. Please pray that the additional text that I sent him tonight after he had said goodnight,
will ring of love for him. I pray that the Bible verses that I have quoted will speak truth to his heart
loudly. Help him to not want to continue talking with other men with this life on line. Give him
only joy through you and not the world. And, help him to reach out to those who he should.
Help him to be a blessing to others when he is returned to You. Help him to do Your will for
his life. And help us to do your will for our live and to stay in Your word as we await Your answer.
You can do the things that can not be done by anyone but You. So we thank You Lord for
hearing our prayer. And we trust that You will bring Kyle and Jamie to you. Amen,
