Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear brother who has suffered with poor health for so long, with his failing kidney and repeated hospital stays, and now with pneumonia. Lord, you know his body and every affliction he carries. We ask in the name of Jesus that you would lay your healing hand upon him, that you would rebuke sickness and restore strength as it pleases you according to your perfect will. Grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses caring for him, and grant him comfort, peace and true healing that comes from you.
We also lift up his wife to you. You see the heaviness she carries as she works to provide while her husband suffers. Father, grant her renewed strength each day, wisdom beyond her own, and peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Sustain her and let her feel your nearness in this hard season.
Lord, we also ask that you would provide for their financial needs. You know the burden of medical bills and lost income. Open your hand and supply what they need, and help them to trust you as their provider.
We ask all of this in the saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, trusting in your goodness, your mercy and your power to heal. Amen.
