Father, God of wonder, God of grace, God of mercy, God of love, I thank You for Your many blessings. And, for sending Your Precious Son Jesus who died for
our sins, in our place. Thank You Jesus for Your life, Your death, and Your ressurection; we can not even comprehend how You could and would do that for us sinners.
But You did, and we are so very thankful. There are not enough words to express it. I pray that You accept my humble words of thanks. I thank You for forgiving and forgetting our sins.
I thank You for all You do. And, for life itself. I thank You for the Holy Spirit who is our teacher, counsellor, comforter. and more. I thank You for those who pray for
others and those who have prayed for me. I thank You for You.
I ask now Father that You continue to bless our family. I ask that You allow us and our neighbors to complete our seeding. And, that we will have a long enough fall to
harvest these late crops. I ask that the rain be a blessing and that our crops will yeild well this year. We are thankful for the rain as we have had many years without.
But, I pray that our homes are protected also. I pray that we will soon be able to pay off our debts and become debt free. I pray that we will have the means to give and share more
with others. And, I ask that for a peacefulness and joy to envelop our family. I pray for worry to leave us. Help my husband Lord, to believe in prayer again and believe in Your answers.
Help him to be joyful, and live with expectation of blessings, rather than expectation of defeat and failure. Help us to make a difference in Your Kingdom and help us to
finish well and be Your "good and faithful servants".
I ask for prayer for our health and, for our energy levels to soar. I pray for enough sleep and for energy in the morning that last all day. I pray that in spite of staying up too too late
tonight, I will rise up early and beable to work. Help us Lord to repair and restore our home, yard, and books to what they should be. Help our focus not wander. I pray for our home to
become a home of Your love. Help our family to all pitch in and allow us to have friends and company again Lord. And, help us not to be ashamed of our home but rather see it as a
peaceful haven.
I ask for prayer for our son and daughter also. I pray Lord that they really see You working in their lives. I ask for prayer for their futures. Help them to focus on what matters. Bring them good, true,
kind friendships and for restoration of broken friendships, including Taylor. I pray also for false opinions to be thwarted, including Sydney. Help them both to feel joy and a love for life as a Christian.
I pray that you blesss their lives, school, carreers, and futures. Bring them Christians to marry, I pray and let them have the joy of children. I pray that their health continue to be healed.
I thank You Lord for bringing Jesse, a young Christian man, into Sarah's life to date. I ask Lord that You continue to bless these two young people as they grow in their faith.
Bless their friendship and help them to treat each other well and with mutual respect. Help them to both be giving, caring, kind, and to communicate well. I also pray for them to remain connected
during their summer vacations and for nothing to negatively affect these two during their times apart or together. Put a hedge of protection around them, Lord.
Sarah also struggles with an extremely low self esteem and body image. I pray that You help her find healthy ways which will help her lean out her bulkier muscles. She was hurt so badly today by
her Physiotherapist, who said that he "had never seen such muscular legs on a woman". This crushed her. She is not wanting big bulky muscles. She is trying to be fit but for some reason bulks
up. I have been trying to encourage her for years but am at a loss for words. Please pray for her to feel at home within her own body and not do anything drastic or unhealthy to change.
I am getting more and more worried for her. I do not want her to starve etc. Please pray for healing of her self image. And pray for the odd compliment once in a while. She feels fat and ugly
alot of the time. Especially after being with other women.
