I have been crying, begging to the lord.. that I did Not contract it.. I do not deserve to live with this my whole life..I have took care of my body all this time to deal with this forever..

PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!

We have heard your heartbreak and we are carrying your burden before the Lord with you in this very difficult and frightening time. The pain of betrayal after giving your heart again, the fear of a lifelong health consequence, and the feeling of shame and anxiety while you wait for testing is heavy, and we weep with you. We pray for your peace and for comfort as you wait, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.

We want to speak to you in love and truth as scripture calls us to, because we care for your soul and your future. God designed sexual intimacy as a beautiful gift to be enjoyed only within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. When we give ourselves sexually outside of marriage, even with a boyfriend we care for deeply, the Bible calls this fornication, and it leaves us vulnerable spiritually, emotionally, and physically, as you are now experiencing. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches, and God calls us to honor Him with our bodies. We share this not to condemn you, for we all have sinned, but to call you to repentance and to a new way forward, where courtship is entered with the clear goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, guarding purity until vows are made. 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and to seek a spouse who will love the Lord and honor you as Christ loves the church.

We see your gracious heart in choosing to forgive the man who cheated on you and lied to you. That forgiveness honors God. Ephesians 4:32 says Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiveness as Christ commands releases bitterness from your heart, but forgiveness does not require you to remain in a dating relationship with someone who has been unfaithful and dishonest, nor does it require you to trust him again. We encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel and to set clear boundaries to protect your heart and your body, and to pursue only a relationship that leads toward a God honoring marriage.

You have cried out to the Lord, and that is right, but we noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and forgiveness. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, as 1 John 1:9 promises. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess all sin to Him, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. There is no shame too deep for His grace, and 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We understand your fear that you do not deserve to live with this for life, and we know you have tried to care for your body. While consequences of sin can remain, God is merciful and He is the healer. Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Whether the test is negative or positive, He can redeem your story, give you wholeness, and lead you into a future filled with hope. If you do test positive, it is not the end of your worth or your ability to have a godly marriage and family, and medical care can help you manage it well, so we encourage you to keep your appointment at the end of August and to seek wise medical counsel as good stewardship of the body God gave you.

We now pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our sister to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her body. We pray for a negative test result if it be Your will, and we ask that You would calm her anxious heart while she waits, replacing fear with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Forgive her sins as she confesses them to You, cleanse her from all unrighteousness, and make her new in Christ. Heal any infection or outbreak and heal the deep wound of betrayal and the pain of being lied to. Give her wisdom to walk in purity from this day forward, to flee sexual immorality, and to guard her heart for a future godly marriage that honors You. Provide a godly husband in Your timing if it is Your will for her to marry, a man who will love You first and love her faithfully. Surround her with supportive believers, pastoral counsel, and sound medical care. Let her know how deeply she is loved and valued by You, not defined by a test result or by what has been done to her. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have been thinking of you as you wait through these long weeks. To do everything you could to care for your body and then feel betrayed and exposed to something you did not choose feels deeply unfair, and it makes sense you are crying out to the Lord and longing for a clear, negative result.

We notice you made a gracious choice to forgive. That decision to release revenge is different from the slower healing of emotions, and it is also different from reconciliation. You can forgive and still need boundaries and time to heal, especially after being lied to.

Waiting until the end of August for the most accurate window must feel endless. As a nurse you carry medical knowledge, and also the weight of being the patient. We gently encourage you not to carry this alone until then. Alongside prayer, please consider reaching out soon to a trusted clinician or your primary care provider to talk through timing for testing, what to watch for, and how to care for yourself in the meantime. Having a professional walk with you can ease some of the uncertainty.

You do not have to earn God's care by having done everything right. He sees you in this fear and shame and loves you still.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus' name. You know her heart, her tears, and her longing for healing. Grant her wisdom as she seeks care, peace as she waits, and a deep sense of being held by You whatever the results show. Lead her to supportive people and guide her next steps. Amen.

Your letter has been read with deep sorrow and with earnest prayer before the Lord, and we do not take lightly the pain, the shame and the fear which you have poured out.

To be betrayed by one whom you trusted is a bitter wound. Scripture itself shows how black is the sin of betrayal, and our Lord Jesus knows that wound, for He was betrayed by one near to Him. He is able to sympathize with you in this hour of weeping and to be near to the brokenhearted. Your anxiety has been very great, and such anxiety itself unfits the soul to meet its trial. You have been crying and begging the Lord for a certain outcome, and it is right to bring every fear to Him, for He bids us cast our cares upon Him. Yet we would gently point you to a surer rest than an answer about a test can give.

There is a good way and an old path in which the soul finds rest, and that way is to walk with God according to His holy design. His Word teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the gift of union belongs within that covenant. What has happened outside of that path has brought sorrow, as sin always does, not because God is unkind, but because His way is for our good. If you have walked outside that way, do not hide from Him, but come honestly to Him in repentance. The Lord is not looking for those who have kept themselves perfectly, for all have sinned, but for those who will confess their need of His mercy and turn to walk in His way henceforth. In that path you will find rest for your soul, not because circumstances are at once made easy, but because you are reconciled to God.

You say the Lord moved you to forgive this man, and you did. That is Christlike, and it is right. Forgiveness as God forgives is a divine and surprising forgiveness. He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. There is forgiveness not for this sin or that sin only, but a full and complete forgiveness for all who come to Him through the blood of Jesus. You have shown mercy to one who wronged you, and we exhort you to seek that same mercy for yourself from God. Come to Christ and say with a penitent heart, I believe in the forgiveness of sins, and believe it for yourself. And know this, that to forgive one who has betrayed you does not require you to remain in a relationship with him or to entrust yourself again to one who has been unfaithful and untruthful. Forgiveness and wisdom may walk together, and boundaries are needful and holy.

Concerning your body and this waiting for a test, we will pray for you, but we must pray as those who bow to the wisdom of God. We cannot ask God to simply grant a desired result because we feel we have deserved it by taking care of ourselves. None of us deserves health or wholeness before God, all is of mercy. Nor can we promise what the test will show. What we can and do ask is that the Lord will have mercy upon you, that He will guide the hands of those who care for you medically, and that He will give you truth and peace. We urge you not to carry this burden alone until the end of August, but to seek godly medical counsel promptly and to follow wise care for your health. Whether the result be as you hope or not, His grace is sufficient for you, and your worth and your future are not destroyed by a diagnosis. Many live with infirmities of the body, and yet know the Lord's sustaining power and are able to live fruitful and holy lives.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness, we bring this daughter of sorrow before Thy throne of grace through Jesus Christ Thy Son, who died the Just for the unjust to bring us to God. Lord, Thou knowest her tears, her fear, her shame and her waiting. Have mercy upon her. Wash her in the blood of Christ and give her to know the completeness and certainty of Thy forgiveness. Speak that blessed whisper to her soul, There is forgiveness, and let it drive away despair. Grant her repentance where it is needed and faith to lay hold on Christ. Give her rest in the old path and strength to walk in purity and in Thy good way all her days. We ask for Thy mercy upon her body. Thou art the Lord that healeth. We ask for wisdom for those who will test and counsel her, for honesty and for peace that passes understanding, whatever the result may be. Keep her from anxiety that unfits her for duty, and teach her to wait patiently upon Thee. Guard her from returning to what would harm her, and lead her in Thy truth. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it. Amen.

We encourage you to bring this matter to a faithful pastor and to a trusted medical provider without delay, to walk in the light, and to keep close to Christ and His Word. He will not cast out any who come to Him.
