We join with you in lifting up your son before our heavenly Father and we thank you for coming to us in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We know how worrying it is when a child faces a health challenge, especially with his eyesight, and we share your concern and your hope. We bring his eyes before the Lord who formed them and who sees all. We remember the promise that Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind, Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down Psalm 146:8, and that He is the One who heals us, for I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We also cling to His word that He will restore you to health, and will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We also lift up the doctors who will attend to him. We ask God to grant them steady hands, clear minds, and godly wisdom as they examine and treat him. We are reminded that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask that the Lord guides every decision they make and gives them insight beyond their own understanding.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and place this precious son into Your loving hands. You formed his eyes and You know every detail of his body. We ask for Your healing touch upon his eyesight, that You would restore and protect what You have created. Lord, we ask that You grant complete wisdom and discernment to the doctors and all medical staff who will care for him, that they would see clearly the cause and the best path of treatment. Give peace to his parents, take away fear and anxiety, and help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding Proverbs 3:5. Let Your will be done in his life and let Your healing power be made known, so that his testimony may bring glory to You. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can come to You and be saved Acts 4:12. We entrust him to Your care and pray for Your perfect peace to guard the hearts of his family Philippians 4:7. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing your son before the throne of grace, striving together with you in prayer to God for him.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they soon urge us to seek a physician, yet we know there is a greater Physician whose healing power is present. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that medicine is appointed for the very purpose of healing. It grows for the sick, and Christ takes our sicknesses upon Himself. We may come boldly to Him as the wounded soldier cries for one to carry him to the hospital of mercy, longing for the aid of one mightier than himself.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we lift up this dear child before You and ask Your merciful hand upon his eyes. You formed the eye and You open the eyes of the blind. We pray that You would restore and preserve his eyesight according to Your perfect will, and that You would grant wisdom to the doctors who will attend to him. Give them skill, clear judgment and steady hands, that they may be instruments in Your hands for good. We ask that You would comfort this parent with peace, and draw this family to trust wholly in Christ, in whom alone is salvation and healing and pardon. Grant that whether in healing or in trial, Your name may be glorified and Your presence known.
