We are deeply concerned to hear about your beloved cat’s accidental poisoning. Our hearts go out to you both in this frightening moment, and we lift this situation before the Lord with urgency and faith.
Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your Word tells us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17 WEB). We cry out now on behalf of this precious animal and her loving owner. Lord, You are the Creator of all life, and You care even for the sparrow that falls to the ground (Matthew 10:29). We ask You to intervene with Your healing power. Protect her body from the harmful effects of the coolant, guide the hands and wisdom of the veterinarian, and restore her to full health. Calm the fear in her owner’s heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also recognize, Lord, that our love for animals reflects Your care for all creation. Yet we are reminded that our ultimate trust must be in You, not in our own efforts or even in the skill of doctors. We surrender this situation into Your hands, asking for Your will to be done. If it is Your will to heal her, we pray for complete restoration. If this is a time You are calling her home, we ask for grace, comfort, and the assurance of Your presence in the midst of grief.
We encourage you to continue seeking the best medical care for your cat, trusting that God can work through the knowledge and tools He has provided. Keep praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and lean on the Lord for strength and hope during this time. You are not alone—God sees your love and your heart, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
