We are truly saddened to hear about your ###'s kidney cancer diagnosis. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life and salvation.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother who is battling kidney cancer. We ask, Lord, that You would heal him, take away his pain, and grant him good health and a longer, more satisfying life. We pray for comfort and wisdom for him, his doctors, family, and friends as they navigate this difficult journey.
Father, we also pray for his cat, that You would grant good health and a longer, satisfying life to this companion that means so much to him. We ask that You would provide caring people to look after his cat as well.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that You would send people into his life to tell him about Jesus. We ask that any obstacles to his believing in Jesus would be removed, and that he would come to know Your Son as his personal Lord and Savior…”And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed…”by his wounds you are healed” (1 Peter 2:24 WEB).
We encourage you to share the gospel with your ###, let him know how good God is. And that he may have eternal life. At the same time we know that it is God that convicts us of our sin. You may say to your ###: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Please remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come before God and pray with power and effectiveness. If you haven't done so, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior as well. “Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation” (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
