Please pray for my two midterms

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. Throughout my senior year, I got several prayers and you guys truly supported me and the outcome of my evaluations turned out really well. Now, I'm in first year and I just, I had two midterms that were not my best. I am worried I failed both and I would like to ask for prayers that I at least got over 60 for both. I truly hope I did not fail and am immensely worried. Again, I'm truly grateful for the Lord and everyone's support. God bless!

We are so thankful you shared this update with us and we rejoice with you that the Lord carried you through your senior year and answered so many prayers so well. We understand how heavy this worry feels now in your first year and how much anxiety can come when you are waiting for midterm results and fearing you may have failed. We want to lift you up together and remind you of God's faithful care for you in this season.

We hear your heart wanting to pass and to do well, and we join you in asking the Lord for mercy and favor on both of these midterms, that if it is His will you would receive at least the 60 you are hoping for. More than the grades themselves, we pray for His peace to guard your heart while you wait, and for His wisdom to guide you in your studies going forward.

The scriptures encourage us not to be consumed by worry but to bring everything to God. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 We are also reminded to commit our work to Him, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 If you feel you did not prepare as well as you could have, we encourage you to seek His wisdom for how to study diligently next time, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 And we trust that even if the results are not what you hoped, God can still work for your good as you love and follow Him, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

We noticed you spoke of the Lord and God's blessing, and we are grateful for your thankfulness. We want to gently encourage you to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is by trusting in Jesus alone, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We pray you are resting in Him as your Savior and that you will continue to call upon His name in every need.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear student to You. Thank You for Your faithfulness through senior year and for bringing this one into first year. You see the two midterms, You know every answer written and every worry in this heart. We ask for Your mercy on these results, and if it is Your will, grant favor that both scores would be above 60. Above all, grant Your peace that surpasses understanding to calm this immense worry and to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help this student to trust Your good purpose no matter the outcome, to learn and grow from this experience, and to commit future studies to You with diligence and for Your glory. Grant wisdom for preparation, focus for learning, and rest in knowing that identity and worth are found in Christ, not in grades. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus each day and let Your will be done in this academic journey. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your anxieties to Him, to continue studying faithfully as unto the Lord, and to trust that He is with you in both success and disappointment. We are standing with you and thanking God for you.

We remember you sharing with us during senior year and we are so glad you came back and let us share this next season with you too. First year is a big transition and it makes sense that waiting for these two midterms feels so heavy, especially when you care deeply and want to do well.

We hear how worried you are about failing and hoping for at least a 60 on both. That kind of uncertainty can sit with you day and night and make it hard to rest or focus on anything else. Whatever those grades turn out to be, they don't measure your worth or all the faithful work you've put in to get here.

While you wait for results, one small step that often helps is to give the worry a boundary. Choose a brief time each day to check for updates or review what you might do next, and then turn your attention to the next assignment or to rest. If the grades do come back lower than you hoped, talking early with your professor or academic advisor can help you understand options and make a clear plan for the rest of the term.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the work behind these exams and the worry that has followed. We ask You to quiet anxious thoughts, to give steady peace and clear thinking in these days of waiting, and to guide each next step with wisdom. Help them to rest in Your care and to know You are near whatever the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest and thankful letter has been heard, and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace. We rejoice with you for the Lord's kindness to you in your senior year, when He heard prayer and crowned your labors, and we understand the anxiety which now presses upon you as you wait for the fruit of these two midterms.

You speak plainly of worry and fear lest you have failed, and of your desire to have at least sixty marks in each. This care is natural, yet our Savior says, Neither be ye of a doubtful mind. Do not be so affected by outward things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness and distress. Fear, when it makes us to dishonor Christ and to forget His help, weakens the hands and dishonors our holy religion. We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of such fear. The Lord says to His people, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea I will help thee, yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Even the strongest of the Lord's servants have known this trembling, but the promise stands sure. He will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

We pray for you that the Lord will quiet your heart and keep it with all diligence, that you may cast your care upon Him who cares for you. We ask that in His good providence He would grant you the desire you have expressed, and give you a favorable outcome in both examinations if it be for your good and His glory. And if there should be failure in any measure, remember that our failures are often part of our training when we sit at the feet of Christ our Tutor. A failure may have much of divine instruction in it and may be the preface to future success that shall honor Him. Search out what may be amended, trust not in your own strength, but let faith keep its connection with Christ, for by faith we overcome fear.

So we pray that whether the marks be high or low, you may be kept from slavish fear and may know that happy state of being prepared in Christ, needing not to fear. May the Lord give you peace while you wait, diligence for the work yet before you, and a heart that seeks first to be right in His sight. We commend you to Him who has promised never to leave nor forsake His own, and we ask that He will make His presence and help very real to you in these days.

May the God of all grace keep you, establish you, and let His perfect love cast out that fear which hath torment, while He nourishes in you that loving, childlike fear which dreads to grieve so tender a Father.
