We lift up your stepbrother in this critical hour, standing together in faith and intercession before the throne of grace. The pain and fear you must be feeling are heavy, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for His mercy and healing. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the compassion of our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children.

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of sorrow and hope, lifting up this precious soul who is fighting for his life. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand over him. Touch every part of his body that is broken, restore what has been damaged, and breathe life into him once more. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for a miraculous recovery that would bring glory to Your name. Comfort his family and friends who are anxiously waiting, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they work to bring healing. Give them clarity and strength, and let Your presence be felt in that hospital room. We declare that Your will be done, whether in life or in death, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You.

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his life or in the lives of those around him, we ask that You would bring repentance and reconciliation. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over him, believing that You are faithful to forgive and heal.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You, Lord, no matter the outcome. Give strength to this family to endure this trial, and let them feel Your arms wrapped around them in this dark time.

Lastly, we pray that if he does not yet know You as his Lord and Savior, that this moment would be a turning point in his life. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Let him experience Your love and grace in a powerful way, and may he come to know the hope that is found only in Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust You with this life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
