Please pray for my sister-in-law. She was abused for years by my brother, then she finally called the cops and threw him out of the house. Her way to find strength was to become a Christian, but it was to have something to hide behind, not to heal her issues. Now she is mean in her heart, and she has become an abuser herself. She throws Christ's name around as a way to do devious things: "Well, I prayed on it and the Lord told me this." Well, no aspect of Jesus that I know would ever tell anybody "this." She is hard, cold, the first to jump on someone's flaws. She is judgmental and profoundly full of herself. She used to shine with a lovely soft light around her. Now there is no light in her or around her. I ask for your prayers that she truly see and feel the Holy Spirit in her and be the person she once was, or better, because now she has overcome a hardship, and she can grow wisdom from that. But she covers it up. She's nasty and uncaring about anything but appearances. I pray for her, but she's hurt me a number of times with her viciousness, and I'm not sure that my prayers are pure. Please ask God to truly open her heart and to heal her of her pain, so she can again be a good and loving, compassionate person. Thank you.
