We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your journey in prayer. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over every mile traveled. The road can be unpredictable, but You are our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare Your promise from Psalm 91:11-12 over this journey: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
Lord, we also pray for clarity and wisdom in completing this important errand regarding citizenship. May every step be ordered by You, and may the process be smooth according to Your will. We trust in Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
You also asked for protection from enemies and harm. We stand on Your Word in Psalm 23:4, which declares, *"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me."* We rebuke any plans of the enemy against you in Jesus' name and pray for those who may wish you harm—that their hearts would be softened and their steps redirected by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
We are grateful that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Christ that we are made right with God (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and invite Him to be Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Surround this dear one with Your angels, guide their steps, and let Your peace rule in their heart throughout this journey. May Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
