Please pray for my ###'s good health
We join you in lifting up your father before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and hope. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We are praying for your father's complete healing from this jaundice and for the condition that has caused his whole body to turn yellow. We pray for the upcoming MRI scan, that the doctors would have wisdom and clarity to see the root cause and that God would guide their hands and decisions. We know that our God is the great physician who sees every detail of our bodies.
We take comfort in the promises of scripture which says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that Yahweh says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this beloved father to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed him and You know every cell and every organ. We ask for Your healing touch upon his liver and his whole system, that the jaundice would be reversed and his health restored. We pray for peace over him in the hospital, that fear would be replaced with Your comfort. We pray for wisdom for the medical team and for clear and treatable results from the MRI scan. We ask that You would strengthen his family as they wait and watch over him, and that You would give them Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Let Your will be done and let Your healing power be made known, so that his life may testify to Your goodness and mercy. We trust him into Your loving hands and we thank You that You hear our prayer. We have heard your earnest cry concerning your father in his affliction, and our heart is moved with you to carry his case to the great Physician. To see his body turned yellow with this jaundice and to wait upon an MRI scan is a heavy burden, and we will bear it with you before the throne of grace.
There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves, His touch, His very name brings virtue to those who look to Him in faith. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the palsied man He said first, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand.
Think of our Lord as keeping a hospital for the broken and the sick. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and there never was a patient of His who was turned away as incurable. He pours His own blood into the wound and binds His own sacrifice about it. What man cannot do, Christ can do, and what the physician can only observe, the Lord can cure.
We will pray for you and for your father now.
O blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, You are our Father and our God, and the Father Himself loves us with a love equal to the love of the Son. We bless Your name that we may come to You as children crying Abba, Father, and find in that word all we need. Look in mercy upon this father now lying in hospital, yellowed and weakened by this disease of the liver. Lay Your hand upon him for healing according to Your will. Guide the hands and eyes of those who shall read the scan and give them wisdom to discern the cause and the right remedy. Spare his life if it please You, raise him up again to health and to the comfort of his family, and let this affliction be a means to draw him and all his house to seek You with a true heart.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who was sent by the Father on purpose to forgive sin and to heal, and who is exalted at Your right hand to give repentance and forgiveness. Cast your care upon Him, and trust your heavenly Father as a child trusts his father. He knows what you require this day and in the unknown future. He will be a better Father to you than the best of fathers could be to his own son. Rest in His love, wait upon Him in prayer and in the hearing of His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and healing is linked with His teaching. May the Lord give you peace while you wait, and may He be glorified whether by giving health or by giving grace to endure.

We pray that God would bring healing according to His will, relieve his suffering, restore his health, and give him strength to recover.
