please pray for my marriage

I am married to a functioning alcoholic. He does not recognize that he is one. He is able to work, and serve as a deacon in our church. But when he is at home, he drinks and gets drunk. Then he lies about his drinking. He is destroying our marriage and our family. Dear God! Please help!

God I pray that you would humble this man and bring before your throne to accountability. He holds an honorary position in your church. I pray that he will have Divine Appointments in his life that you speak to him clearly and turn him back to you and he recognize satan is at work through alcohol. Help him understand that alcohol is a weapon of satan. God would never condone something that kills 50,000 people a year and wrecks families. Amen

I ask that you remove these strongholds over this man that has a drinking problem and that you would restore him to his right mind. Lord you know that alcohal is used as a cover up for a symptom. I ask that you not just take away the drinking problem but that you also deliver him from the cause that makes him drink. In Jesus name, Amen
