Please Pray For My Marriage! Divorce Papers Recieved

Please pray for my marriage!! I received divorce papers and I must file my counter response this week. We have 3 small children and I do not want a divorce. We have been married for 11 years and I love my husband very much. He has closed his heart to attempting reconcilliation or counseling. And has moved out of our home.

YOU ARE MOST DEFINATELY IN MY PRAYERS TONIGHT. GIVE IT TO GOD AND GET SOME SLEEP....HE IS YOUR REFUGE. I PRAY THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE YOU IN THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO!!!!! IT'S NOT OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS (IN THIS CASE DEATH) SO DONT GIVE UP THE FIGHT.....PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. WE SERVE A GOD OF MIRRACLES!!!!!

Isaiah 61:3 … to provide for those who mourn… beauty for ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify Him. They will rebuild the ancient ruins, restore the former devastations, renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

Joel 1: 4 What the devouring locust has left, the swarming locust has eaten; what the swarming locust has left, the young locust has eaten; and what the young locust has left, the destroying locust has eaten…

I am also in the same boat but I have been married for 3 years. Father, I pray for the healing and reconciliation of this marriage. I pray that you soften her husband's heart and that he knows that divorce is not the answer. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Let’s Pray….Hear my prayer O Lord. Grant my petition I pray. God, you have made the bond of marriage a holy mystery, a symbol of Christ's love for his Church. God I ask in Jesus' name, "Bless my mate and I to love each other as Christ loves His Church. Bless our marriage and walk beside us. Fix whatever is not right. Step in our marriage and perfect what concerns You Lord.



Help us through You Lord Jesus, make the best of whatever comes our way. Temper our hearts with respect, kindness, faithfulness, and understanding for each other. Please rid us of all pretense or jealousy. Help us to remember to be each other's sweetheart, lover, helpmate, friend and guide. So that together with You we may meet the cares and problems of life with faith and trust. Knowing that God will work all things out for our good.



Help us to create for our children a peaceful, stable home of love as a foundation on which they can build their lives. But most of all, dear God, help us to keep lit the torch of love' that we share in our hearts for each other, so that by our loving example we may pass on the light of love to our children and to our children's children forever.



And with the passage of time, deepen our love for one another. Bless us to find great contentment and joy with each other as we grow daily into senior companionship. When the sun is setting, may we be found still hand in hand, still thanking Thee for each other. And all that I ask You to do for my marriage please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Heavenly Father....all knowing, all mighty one. We come before you with thanksgiving for the love and grace you have shown us. We thank you for life, for health and family. Lord, we ask you to fogive us for our sins....those known and unknown to us. Likewise, we pray forgiveness over our spouse. We pray that right here, right now that they are forgiven by you and by us of the sins they are committing against our marriage and the covenant that we made with you. Lord, help us to find your PEACE in the midst of this storm. Lord, we ask you to place a hedge of protection around our marriage. WE ask that you send angels to our protection. We asks for you holy psirit to guide us, and most importantly lord we ask that you draw near to us while we draw near to you. Lord, we pray that your holy spirit would continue to give guidance to our spouses, even if they have been ignoring him thus far. We pray that NO enjoyment or satisfaction will be found in sin. We denounce Satan and his demons, commanding them away from our marriage in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we asks that your will be done on earth as in heaven.
