Please Pray For My Kids

please pray for my three kids as the new school year starts today...

for my daughter: that she continues to enjoy middle school. that she finds good teachers and good friends to guide and help her through the school year.

for my middle son: that he continues his path as a peer leader to others in and out of school. may he find teachers and adults to ask questions of when he gets in a bind.

for my youngest son: may he continue to love school. he is so looking forward to this year. he has been able to forget the few problems he had last year. i know he may struggle from time to time. i know he may have to find a way to step out of his brother's shadow. i hope his can do so with patience. and hope he will learn to let the small struggles in his day roll right off his back.

Loving Father, we pray for these children, and all children returning to classrooms all over the world. May their hearts and minds be open to instruction. May they absorb and retain knowledge. Let all wordly influences fall away, grant them pure learning experiences. I pray also for teachers, administrators, coaches and parents, that they might be Your example of compassion and love in the lives of these children. In Jesus' name, amen.
