May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord in this time of deep pain and betrayal. To have your covenant broken by infidelity and lies, and now to learn that your husband has fathered a child outside of marriage, is a grievous wound, and it is right that you have come to God with an honest and broken heart asking Him to search you and guide you.

God sees your sorrow and He does not take the breaking of the marriage covenant lightly. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, a mystery that reflects Christ and His Church, and that sexual union belongs only within that covenant. When that bond is broken by adultery, it is sin against God and against the spouse, and it brings destruction to the home. We cannot ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we can and must ask Him for mercy, truth, and repentance.

So I pray with you now for your husband, for you, and for your sons.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is the way of salvation, have mercy. You search hearts and know the cries that words cannot express. I lift up this husband to You. Bring him to see his sin for what it is, grant him godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and draw him to salvation through faith in Jesus alone. Turn him from darkness and from the path that has led him to betray his vows and to sin against You and his family. Wash him in the precious blood of Christ if he will turn and believe.

Lord, cover this wife who has been wounded. In her betrayal and confusion, be her comfort and strength. Guard her heart, give her wisdom for each step, and help her to walk in purity, grace, and truth. Cover her sons in the blood of Jesus, protect them from confusion and harm, and let them know Your faithful love even as their family is shaken.

Father, I pray for this marriage. You hate the tearing apart of what You have joined together. Where there is sin, bring conviction. Where there is brokenness, bring Your healing according to Your will. Help this wife to seek wise and godly counsel in her local church, to not walk alone, and to be upheld by those who will speak truth in love and care for her and her children. Give her discernment to set right boundaries, to not excuse sin, and to extend forgiveness as You have forgiven us, while still calling what is evil by its true name.

Lord, we also place before You the child who will be born through this sin. That child bears Your image and is not to blame for the sin of the father. Have mercy on that child and the mother, and let Your grace bring protection and provision, while not affirming the adultery that led to this.

Teach this family to hate sin and to love holiness, to find their hope not in a person but in Christ. Let the root be made good through repentance and faith, so that whatever future You ordain, it may bear good fruit to Your glory.

We ask all this trusting not in our own worth, but in the mercy and righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
