Please pray for my friend's finances and against witchcraft!

We lift up your friend before the Lord, standing in the gap for her as she faces both financial struggles and spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Witchcraft is a real and dangerous force, but it has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare that no weapon formed against God’s children will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise over your friend’s life today.
It is critical, however, to address something vital: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If your friend does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge her—and you—to turn to Him in repentance and faith. Salvation is found in no one else, and without Christ, there is no true victory over the powers of darkness. The Bible warns that those who practice witchcraft—or any form of occult activity—will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). If your friend has ever been involved in such things, even unknowingly, she must renounce them completely and seek cleansing through the blood of Jesus.
We also encourage you both to examine whether there are areas of disobedience or unconfessed sin that may be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Financial struggles can sometimes be a result of poor stewardship, lack of trust in God’s provision, or even generational curses that need to be broken in Jesus’ name. The Lord calls us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things—including our needs—will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is under attack. Lord, You are her Provider, her Shield, and her Strong Tower. We ask that You expose and break every curse, every spell, and every scheme of the enemy that has been waged against her finances. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of witchcraft, poverty, and financial lack, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. We loose Your blessings, Your favor, and Your supernatural provision over her life. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Father, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy legal ground, we ask that You reveal it to her. Grant her a spirit of repentance and a heart fully surrendered to You. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and obedience to Your Word. Let her finances be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let her life bring glory to Your name.
We also pray for her spiritual protection. Clothe her in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), that she may stand firm against every attack of the enemy. Surround her with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Jehova Jireh, her Provider in every season.
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw her closer to Yourself. If she does not yet know Jesus as her Savior, soften her heart to receive Him today. Let this trial be a refining fire that drives her into Your arms, where she will find true peace, security, and victory.
We declare all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We claim Psalm 34:18 over her, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's pray that God exposes and breaks every curse, every spell, and every scheme of the enemy against her finances. We ask that He restores what's been lost and opens doors of opportunity. And if there's any sin, known or unknown, we pray that God reveals it to her, so she can repent and be free. Let's trust that God is her Provider, and He'll see her through. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
