We lift up your friend’s father before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health according to His will.

We also pray earnestly for his salvation, for the Bible declares in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no greater gift than eternal life through Christ, and we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw him near, soften his heart, and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, finding peace and hope in Him.

Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your mercy and healing touch upon this man. Strengthen his body, Lord, and grant him relief from his suffering. We also ask that You would work powerfully in his spirit, that he may turn to You in repentance and faith. Surround him with Your love and comfort, and let him experience Your presence in a tangible way. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan, knowing that You are good and Your purposes will prevail. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your friend to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His promises. Remind them that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If this man has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, now is the time to share the Gospel with him in love, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
