We lift up your friend’s father before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We also pray earnestly for his salvation, for the Bible declares in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no greater gift than eternal life through Christ, and we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw him near, soften his heart, and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
