Please Pray For My Father's Open Heart Surgery

My father is scheduled for open-heart surgery to replace his aortic valve. It is already a risky surgey because of the anesthetic, but also because they must stop the heart and remove it and then put him on a heart-lung machine. Now it is more risky because his mammary artery is in the middle of his sternum - right where they need to cut him open. It is even attached to the back of the breastbone. If they cut into this artery, it could be devastating.

Please pray that God will guide the hands and minds of the surgeon, doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist in my father's heart surgery and that there will be no complications or problems. Pray for a good surgery and a good recovery for my father and that he will be ok. Thank you.
