Please pray for my daughter.

Hi, I am new here. Requesting you all to pray for my daughter. She is 17 years old and she always been a sensitive girl. She had severe depression when she was 15. We have struggled a lot to get her back. Now she has dropped out of school and is gonna start her college. But her depression is again at the worst stage. She started self-harm and I found her cutting her wrist in the last week. I don't know what to do. Her dad doesn't know anything regarding this. He is always busy with his business. I am planning to get a psychological therapy for her from a nearby CBT centre ( http://www.cbtassociates.com/about-our-services/adults/adult-assessment/individual-treatment-assessment/ ). But I don't know how effective it will be. I am gonna talk to her regarding this tomorrow. Please pray for my daughter. She is just destroying herself

I am so sorry for your daughter's depression. I also went through a time when I was severely depressed, and resorted to self-harm. Nobody knew about it, very few people know about it now even 5+ years later, and I felt very alone. I'm glad your daughter has a mother who notices something is wrong, knows to bring the matter before God, and seeks help for it.

I am praying for her recovery and her renewed happiness. My heart breaks for her, and I ask God to hold her in His arms and show her the way.
