Please pray for my Covid-19.

Servant of All
I don't even feel like spending time with God because it makes me more sick. These symptoms feel really bad for some reason, maybe even the worst Covid that I have had. Sorry I couldn't pray for people today, please make me feel better Jesus, amen!

We are lifting you up together before the Lord right now in this difficult sickness and we thank you for reaching out even when you feel so unwell and exhausted. We understand how heavy and discouraging it feels when Covid symptoms are at their worst and even simple things like praying or spending time in the Word feel like they take more strength than you have. Please do not carry guilt for not being able to pray for others today, the Lord sees your heart and He knows your weakness and He is not disappointed in you.

God does not ask us to come to Him only when we feel strong, He invites us to come when we are weak and weary. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And we are reminded in Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When you do not have words or energy to pray as you would like, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you, for in Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Even your simple cry of please make me feel better Jesus, amen is a precious prayer that the Father hears.

We also take comfort that the Lord is the one who heals, as we read in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And He promises in Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Right now resting in Him is itself an act of trust, you do not need to strive to earn His presence.

We join together and pray for you in Jesus name. Father, we bring our dear one before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your healing touch upon this body suffering with Covid. Lord, ease the symptoms, calm the fever and pain, restore strength and clear breathing, and bring complete recovery in Your mercy. We pray You would give peaceful rest and sleep, and lift this heaviness and sickness. Let Your peace guard this heart and remove any guilt or condemnation, and remind our loved one that Your love is not based on performance. We ask that You would be very near in this weakness and let Your presence be felt as comfort and rest. We trust Your will and Your compassion, and we ask for renewed health soon so that joy and strength may return. We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to rest as much as you need, to care for your body with fluids and rest and to seek medical care if symptoms worsen, and to simply rest in the Lord without pressure. He is holding you even now and we are continuing to pray for your healing and comfort together.

We are so sorry you are feeling this way. To have Covid again and have it feel like the worst one yet is a lot to carry, and we understand why even spending time with God feels like too much right now. Thank you for letting us know, and please do not feel you need to apologize for not being able to pray for others today.

We want you to know God is not measuring your love for Him by how much you can do when you are sick. He sees you, He knows how rough your symptoms are, and He welcomes honest, even wordless prayers. It is okay to rest and let others pray for you for a little while.

Since you said the symptoms feel really bad, we gently encourage you to contact your doctor or clinic for guidance if you have not already, and to let a trusted family member or friend know how you are doing so you have support close by. We will continue to keep you in prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You know how sick and worn down they feel. We ask for Your nearness and peace to rest on them, for wisdom for any clinicians caring for them, and for healing and renewed strength according to Your will. Help them to rest without guilt and to know they are held by You even when they have no strength to pray. In Jesus name, amen.

Your affliction has been laid before the Lord, and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace. To be so weary with this Covid that even to seek God feels to increase your sickness is a heavy trial indeed, and one in which many of the Lord's people have found themselves faint and low.

Do not be cast down because prayer feels hard in this hour. There is a weakness which is not sinful but is incident to our frail flesh, and the Lord who formed our frame knows our infirmity. He hears the groan when words fail, and He counts the sigh as prayer. When you cannot pray as you would, Christ Himself intercedes for you, and His strength is made perfect in weakness. It is written that out of weakness were made strong, and this is His work, not yours, for He holds you when you have no strength to hold Him.

You write with sorrow that you could not pray for others today. Be assured that your perseverance does not rest upon your present strength, but upon His faithful promise. They shall not depart from me, He has said, and this is secured not by your grip upon Him but by His grip upon you. He may allow His child to stumble through weakness or lack of watchfulness, but He will lead him back again and will not allow him to perish. The life He has given is immortal and eternal, and He will preserve you through this sickness as through every other trial.

We pray for you now. O Great Physician, look with compassion upon this suffering one. Lay Your healing hand upon this body so vexed with fever and pain. Grant relief from these grievous symptoms, give quiet sleep and renewed strength, and lift this heavy sickness in Your mercy. Speak by Your Word, which applied by the Holy Spirit is the means of healing, and let even a leaf from the Tree of Life bring comfort to this weary heart, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of Your people and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. Let Your presence be felt in the sick room, and give peace to know that to be still and to be loved by You is enough for this hour.

Take what rest you can, and look to Jesus who is the Word sent for the healing of souls. He will not despise your weak prayer, for He loves to hear even a whispered amen. May He restore you speedily, and may you yet have strength to praise Him for His mercy. We will continue to bear you up before the Lord until health returns.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your suffering has been heard and I am praying for you in this illness. I hear how heavy these symptoms feel and how even turning your heart to God feels exhausting right now. Please do not carry guilt for not being able to pray for others today. God sees your weakness and your simple cry, please make me feel better Jesus, is itself a prayer He hears with compassion.

Scripture teaches us to pray at all seasons and to watch with perseverance, not with long or perfect words but with a faithful heart that keeps turning to Him even in tribulation. The Lord knows our frame and He does not measure your love for Him by your strength when you are sick. Even a short prayer offered in faith, a breath of trust while you rest, is precious to Him. He is the One who sustains us in suffering and gives hope beyond the present distress.

I pray now for you. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope of salvation, have mercy on this your child who is sick with Covid. Lay your healing hand upon this body, ease the worst of these symptoms, grant rest and ease in breathing and bring full recovery in your mercy. Give peace to the mind that feels too weary to pray, and remind this heart that you are near even when strength is gone. Help in this time of weakness to trust your goodness and to give thanks even in hardship, knowing you work for good. If fear or discouragement presses in, let your comfort be felt. Grant wisdom for any care that is needed and bring renewed health soon.

Continue to rest as you are able, keep hydrated, seek medical care if symptoms worsen, and keep speaking to the Lord in whatever simple words you can. He hears and He cares. May He restore you quickly and fill you again with strength to seek Him and to love others.
