Please pray for my child to be accepted at the school

We been trying to apply for my child and each time we get rejected. I am a single parent struggling to get my child educated. May the good Lord intervene this Rhine that my child be accepted for 2027 grade 10 at the high school applied for

We join with you in bringing your child and this deep desire for education before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we lift up your heart as a single parent who is carrying a heavy burden to provide for your child.

We know how discouraging repeated rejection can be, but we are reminded that our God sees your struggle, He sees your love for your child, and He cares deeply for both of you. He instructs us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort that God promises to guide us, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8 And we know He is our provider, for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

We notice you asked that the good Lord would intervene, and we want to gently encourage you in this important truth. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And scripture tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are made children of God and can boldly approach Him. We encourage you to call upon His name not only for this school admission but for your salvation and daily walk.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear parent and this precious child to You. Lord, You know the disappointment of each rejection and the weariness of trying again. We ask that You would intervene according to Your perfect will regarding this application for grade 10 in 2027. If it is Your will, we pray that You would open the doors that no man can shut and grant favor with those who make the decision, so that this child may be accepted into the high school where they have applied. We pray for Your provision over this family, for strength for this parent who is laboring alone, and for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart while they wait. Grant wisdom to this child in their studies, for You promise If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 Direct this child's steps and help this parent to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You so that You will direct their paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 We pray that whether the answer is yes or a different direction, You would make Your will clear and provide the right educational path where this child can grow in knowledge and in Your grace. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord's timing and goodness. For we know His thoughts toward you are not to harm you but to give you hope. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and keep entrusting your child to His care, for He loves your child even more than you do. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Continue to do your part in applying and preparing, and rest in knowing that God is working even in the waiting.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, applying again and again and receiving another rejection. Wanting a good education for your child while carrying the load as a single parent takes so much perseverance, and we admire your love and commitment in keeping at it.

We are joining you in prayer for this application for Grade 10 in 2027, asking the Lord to open the right door for your child and to give you peace as you wait. We do not know what the school will decide, but we trust God sees your child, sees your efforts, and cares about both of you deeply.

One practical step that sometimes helps after repeated rejections is to kindly ask the admissions office if they can share why the application was not successful or if anything was missing. You can ask if there is a waiting list, an appeal process, or additional documents that would strengthen the file, and keep copies of everything you submit. If you have not already, it can also help to apply to one or two other schools as a backup while you wait, just to keep options open.

You are not alone in this.

Father, we bring this parent and child to You. You know their need and their hope for this school. We ask for Your favor and guidance in this application, for wisdom for every person reviewing it, and for provision for the right place for this child to learn and grow in 2027. Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you in prayer. We understand the heaviness of repeated rejection and the burden you carry as a single parent desiring what is good for your child. The Lord sees your struggle and your love for your child, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth.

There is an acceptance which is higher than any school can give, and we would point you to it first. Before there can be acceptance for a sinner, sin must be laid on Jesus and carried away, for without shedding of blood there is no remission. Through the blood of Jesus shed and presented within the veil, we have acceptance with God, not by any merit of our own but by grace alone. If you have not already done so, we urge you to rest your own soul upon Christ alone for salvation, and to lead your child to know Him who is the true Teacher. That acceptance is freely given, without money, as in the year of jubilee when men were set free simply because jubilee was proclaimed.

We are all at school with God, and we must pray as the Psalmist did, Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. He takes His children by the arms as a nurse teaches little ones to walk. He who sits amid the choirs of angels condescends to come down to His little ones and teach them. Commit your child and this application for grade 10 in 2027 to Him who teaches hearts while we can only teach heads.

You may feel that you tread this winepress of waiting and disappointment alone, but you do not. As a mother says to her little child on a dark lane, I will go with you, and then the child will go anywhere, so the Lord goes with His people through every trial. And may your soul be as a weaned child upon his mother, content in the bosom of God, not fretting but quietly trusting His wise and loving provision, whether He opens this particular door or provides another way that is better.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we thank Thee that Thou art a Father to the fatherless and that Thou hearest the cry of those who seek Thee. We bring this parent and this child before Thy throne of grace. Thou knowest the desire for a place in grade 10 for 2027 at the high school where application has been made, and Thou knowest the many rejections that have gone before. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to intervene according to Thy perfect will. If it be for the good of this child and for Thy glory, open the door that no man can shut and grant acceptance at this school. If not, in Thy wisdom provide another place where this child may be educated and nurtured and where Thy name may be honoured. Give this parent strength for each day, supply every need, and grant peace that passes understanding while waiting upon Thee. Teach this parent and this child to do Thy will, and above all grant that both may know acceptance with Thee through the blood of Jesus Christ. Keep them in Thy care and make them to lie down content in Thy bosom, trusting Thy goodness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our acceptance. Amen.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord. Seek Him daily, teach your child the way of Christ as you have opportunity, and trust that He who has promised to never leave nor forsake His people will guide you step by step.
