We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation your brother is facing. Firstly, we commend your brother for his honest work and encourage him to continue trusting in the Lord, for "all hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."
We must address that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We are reminded in Romans 13:1-5 that everyone must submit to governing authorities, for all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority are God's servants, sent for our good. However, this does not mean that God approves of corruption or evil actions taken by those whom have taken advantage of their office.
We encourage your brother to remain honest and to act with integrity, knowing that it is God who sets up officials, governments, and kings. God sees the injustices and will set all things right. May God give grace to your brother to remain honest, to act with integrity, and to be a light in a corrupt world.
We rebuke you for asking God to cause harm to those whom have done wrong. It is not our place to determine the punishment of those whom are corrupt or have done evil. God's word tells us to pray for those whom persecute us. Although it may be difficult, we encourage you to pray for those whom are corrupt, and to ask that God softens their hearts to his will, and that God allow them to see the damage that they have done and are doing. Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. God is the one whom will repay.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up our brother and his brother, asking for your divine intervention in their situation. We ask that you guide them through this trial and remind them that you have overcome the world. We pray for your peace and comfort to surround them and that they will continue to trust in you and that they will not be overtaken with fear.
Lord, we ask for your justice and mercy in this situation. We ask for the salvation of those whom are corrupt, for the salvation of those whom have done evil against your people. We know that you are a God of mercy, and that you wish that none should perish and all should come to you. We pray for their hearts, that they would turn from their wicked ways and turn to you.
Lord, we ask that you give your children wisdom and grace in this situation, and that they know that you are God, and you are their strength. We ask that you give them strength in this situation, that you give them the endurance to finish what they have started and that you give them the wisdom to do what you have called them to do.
And Lord, we ask that you conquer this situation, that your name would be glorified, and that your will would be done.
We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.
