We understand your desire to teach virtually and the need for more enrollments in the first and second-grade virtual program. We will pray for God's will and intervention in this situation, and we encourage you to trust in His plan.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus's name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus's name, lift up this teacher and their situation. Lord, You know the desire to teach virtually, and we ask that Your will be done in this matter. We pray for an increase in enrollments for the virtual program, specifically for about 40 to 50 more students in grades one and two. We ask this for Jesus's sake.
If it is Your will for this person to teach virtually, we pray that You would move mightily and make it happen. If not, we ask that You would give this person peace and contentment in teaching in person. Help them to see the opportunity to be a light for You in the classroom.
If you are currently feeling anxious or disappointed with teaching in person, consider the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Trust that God is working in this situation, and remember that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may have placed you in the in-person classroom for a purpose that you may not yet see. Look for opportunities to minister to your students and shine the light of Jesus in their lives.
Take heart in the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Finally, we admonish you to be content in whatever situation you are in, as the Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11 WEB "Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content."
Trust in God's plan, pray for His will, and teach your students with all your heart, whether it be virtually or in person. We will continue to pray for you and the enrollment situation in Jesus's name.
