We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing a lot of pain. Let's bring your request to God together, seeking His mercy and comfort for you.
Firstly, we must remember that God is a God of justice, but He also calls us to forgive and show mercy, just as He does for us. In Romans 1221 WEB it is written, "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Vengeance belongs to God alone, and He asks us to trust Him in His perfect timing and wisdom. As it says in Romans 1219 WEB, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in pain. We pray for Your healing touch upon their life, that You would comfort and strengthen them in this time of need. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out upon them, helping them to forgive and release any bitterness and hurt.
Lord, we know that vengeance is Yours alone. We ask that You would work in this situation, bringing justice as only You can. Help our brother/sister to trust in You, to rest in Your perfect will, and to overcome evil with good.
Finally, we pray for salvation, peace, and joy for our brother/sister. We thank you so much for sending your son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross of calvary. We thank you for this means of reconciliation and pathway to you. We ask you to reveal to the individual the knowledge of your son and God's plan for salvation for all humanity.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is always with you, even in your pain. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through. If you feel you need to forgive someone consider the parable Jesus spoke in Matthew 18:21-35 WEB where Jesus discusses the importance of forgiveness. Unforgiveness is not worth the cost. Turn to the Lord for comfort and strength. Also, please next time include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus is the only way to God and his presence. It is very important to understand this.
