Please pray for me.

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my job situation. I'm ### and have worked at ### in ###, ### for well over ### years. They are Christian owned but in recent years have gotten ### or ### very worldly supervisors in very powerful positions who don't have any problem firing people, who don't seem to like me, and seem to be trying to get me fired. Please pray that that doesn't happen. Thanks.

We have heard your request and we are standing with you in prayer over this difficult situation at work. We understand how heavy it is to have given many years of faithful service and now to feel targeted and insecure because of supervisors who do not share your values and who seem to want you gone. We want you to know that God sees your labor, He knows your heart, and He is sovereign over every position and every decision made over you.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about work and about God's authority over promotion and protection. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and Proverbs 16:7 says When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Psalm 75:6-7 reminds us For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. Your job is ultimately in His hands, not in the hands of worldly supervisors, and Romans 8:28 assures us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We are also called to respond to those who mistreat us with grace, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

We notice your request asks for prayer but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for it is through His name we are saved and through His name we pray.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to You. You know his long years of faithful work, You see the burden and anxiety he carries about his job, and You know the intentions of those in authority over him. We ask in Jesus name that You would place a hedge of protection around his employment if it is Your will, that no unjust scheme would succeed against him, and that You would thwart every plan to push him out without cause. We pray that You would soften the hearts of his supervisors, convict them where they act unjustly, and give them wisdom to lead with fairness and integrity. Help our brother to continue to work with excellence as unto You, to walk in integrity, to not return evil for evil, and to be a light for Christ in that workplace even under pressure. Grant him Your peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that whether You keep him in this position or in Your perfect wisdom lead him elsewhere, You would provide for all his needs, open doors no man can shut, and use this trial to strengthen his faith and testimony. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and mediator, amen.

We encourage you to keep committing your work to the Lord each day, to document your work faithfully, to seek wise counsel, and to continue praying for those supervisors by name, asking God to work in their lives as well. Trust that God is your ultimate employer and provider. Even if men intend harm, God can use it for good and He will never forsake those who trust in Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus, remain steadfast, and rest in the peace that He holds your future securely.

We have been thinking about you and the weight you are carrying at work. Giving well over a decade to one place creates deep roots, and it is unsettling when new leadership makes the ground feel unsteady, especially when you sense you are being singled out.

We are praying that God will guard your position and give you clear wisdom day by day. We also pray for peace as you navigate this tension, and for favor with those in authority.

One steady step that often helps in a season like this is to quietly keep your own clear record. Note dates, assignments, feedback you receive, and any positive evaluations or thank yous you have gotten over the years. Keep copies at home. Continue to do your work faithfully and calmly, avoid reacting in the moment when you feel provoked, and if you have a trusted mentor, pastor or wise coworker outside that supervisory line, stay connected with them for perspective. If you have an employee handbook, it can be worth reviewing it so you know the process.

Father, we lift our brother to You. You see his years of faithful work and the anxiety he feels now. Grant him wisdom, steadiness and protection. Provide for his needs and guide his steps, and let him know Your nearness and care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we have prayed for you with sincere concern for your situation.

We understand the heaviness of laboring for many years in one place and now feeling the unease of being under the eye of those who seem to seek your harm. It is a trial that tries the heart, and in such a time fear will naturally arise and ask, Will He plead against me with His great power. But faith has its answer ready, No, but He will put strength in me. The very power you fear is the power which will sustain you.

Remember Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. When losses and threatenings multiplied, he kept right with God, not by his own strength, but by Divine support. If God could uphold Job in all that, He can surely support you in this present burden. Take care that in this time of trial you do not sin with your lips or charge God foolishly, but commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.

Hear also the gracious word which the Lord speaks so often to His people, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob. Fear dishonors God and weakens the hands, but trust in promised strength removes fear. You are not to fear man, for the fear of man bringeth a snare. You are to fear the Lord with a holy reverence, and walk before Him with a clear conscience, doing your work heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men.

We have prayed thus for you, that the Lord would be your keeper and your advocate. That He would put strength into you for each day, give you wisdom and quietness of spirit before your supervisors, and grant you favor where it may be granted according to His will. That He would restrain any unjust design against you, and if it be His good pleasure, preserve your place of employment for His glory and your provision. That He would work in the hearts of those set over you, and keep your own heart from bitterness, that you may show the meekness and integrity of Christ even under pressure. And that whether the trial be removed or continued, you may know that peace which Christ gives to the pardoned and trusting soul, to go in peace and be kept in peace.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you. Continue in faithful labor, in prayer, and in looking unto Jesus, who is your help and your hope. May the Lord establish the work of your hands and let you hear His own gracious dismissal in your soul, Fear not.

We will continue to remember you before the mercy seat.

Your request has been heard and I have prayed for you before the Lord, and I join my prayer to yours.

I understand the weight of carrying this burden after so many years of faithful labor, now feeling the pressure of supervisors who do not favor you and who hold power to harm you. It is a painful trial, and it is right to bring it to God.

Remember what has been taught, that true security is not found in riches or in position or in the favor of rulers. Many think that to keep a job or to gain honor is to be secure, but such security requires flattering many and living in fear of envious eyes and false accusations. The safer harbor is to rest in Christ, who is our refuge. This does not mean we do not work diligently or pray for our daily bread, but it means our peace does not finally depend on whether men keep us or cast us out. Whether He preserves your place there or leads you elsewhere, He remains your provider.

Do not be faint hearted when you see those who act in a worldly way prospering or exercising power harshly. The same temptation came to many before you, to be troubled when the wicked seem to succeed while the faithful suffer. The word to the faint hearted is to wait patiently, for the Lord sees and He will come and will not delay to judge righteously and to reward those who endure.

Therefore bear this stroke thankfully and with patience, not with bitterness. Not every hardship comes from the same cause, but every hardship is an opportunity to be approved and to learn self control. Commit your work to the Lord each day. Continue to do your duties with honesty and diligence as unto Christ and not merely unto men. Let your conscience be clear that no omission on your part gives just cause for accusation.

And toward those supervisors who seem to oppose you, do not return evil for evil. If they are hostile, overcome that hostility with good. Feed them with kindness in word and deed where you can, speak truth without deceit, and pray for them. In so doing you heap coals of fire on the head of enmity, not because you seek vengeance, but because God uses patient love to convict and to change hearts. Leave vengeance to Him.

I have prayed in this way for you, that the Lord would guard your position if it is His will, that He would soften the hearts of those in authority over you and restrain any unjust plan to remove you, that He would give you wisdom to walk blamelessly and to answer with grace under pressure, that He would provide for all your needs according to His riches in Christ, and that He would use this trial to make you more free from fear of men and more conformed to the image of His Son. May He grant you a calm mind, steady hands for your work, and confidence that whether you remain at this company or He opens another door, you are held securely in His hand.

Continue to cast your cares on Him, remain faithful in prayer, and trust His perfect will.
