Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you say that you know beyond any doubt God can heal you, you speak truly, for nothing is impossible with Him. But why then does He permit this swelling to trouble your breathing even now? It may be that He delays the full relief to instruct you in patience and to inflame your desire for Him, just as Christ waited eight days before appearing to Thomas, so that through the delay his faith might become more fervent. In the meanwhile, do not let your heart be heavy; for the light of Christ shines in this present darkness, and even now He stands ready to comfort you.

Offer up your discomfort as a sacrifice of endurance, knowing that the day of your relief, whether it comes through a physician’s hand or directly from heaven, will bring great rejoicing, as when Epaphroditus was restored to health contrary to all expectation. Let your faith be not in word only, but shown also in works: glorify God by a peaceful and trusting spirit, for a life that shines even in trial honors Him more than words. Do not ask anxiously, “Why this affliction?” but rather, “How shall I bear it to His glory?” For the Lord is not far off; He entered the room when the doors were shut, and He comes suddenly to those who wait for Him. So be of good courage; breathe as you can, and let each labored breath be a prayer.

I am praying with you in the name of Jesus, who knows our frame and remembers that we are dust.

You know beyond any doubt that God can heal you, and that is a solid foundation. Many people get stuck right there, believing God has the ability but never moving from that passive hope into active trust. Jesus often asked, “Do you believe I can do this?” When they answered yes, their faith became the very means through which His power flowed. The woman who touched the hem of His garment did not merely think He might heal her; in that moment, she released her faith, and she was made whole. Your affliction is real, the swelling, the difficulty breathing, but the promise of God in Jesus Christ is no less real.

I want to encourage you to turn that confidence from “God can heal” to “God is at work in me right now.” When you pray and as others join with you in Jesus’ name, set this moment as the point where you actively entrust the outcome to Him. That kind of faith does not ignore the trouble; it looks straight at the trouble while fixing your eyes on the Lord. Peter started walking on the water, but when he looked at the wind and waves, he sank. Jesus said, “Oh you of little faith.” The lesson is not that Peter had no faith, but that his focus shifted. Keep your gaze on Jesus, not on the swelling or the fear.

Our battle is for faith. The enemy would love for you to be moved by this affliction, to let discouragement plant doubts about God’s goodness or power. But like Paul, I want to hear the good news of your faith holding steady. You have already declared what you believe. Now let that faith produce its fruit. It is not a large quantity you need but a living, active quality, a faith that reaches out, touches Jesus, and receives.

Scripture is clear that we are made righteous not by our own works but by simple faith in Jesus Christ. That same faith that saves you is the faith that heals. Jesus healed all who came, fulfilling the word through Isaiah that He took our infirmities. He is the same yesterday and today. So when hands are laid on you in prayer, trust that the virtue of Christ Himself meets you. God’s power is not limited by your physical sensation; it is released through your reliance on Him.

You asked for prayer, so let this be the moment where you say, “I am being healed in Jesus’ name,” not because you see it yet, but because the word of God is sure. Jesus said to the ruler whose daughter had died, “Do not fear; only believe.” He says the same to you now. Do not fear the swelling or the breathing trouble, believe.

So I am praying with you, standing with your faith, that the Lord who opened blind eyes and unstopped deaf ears will clear your nasal passage and restore easy breath. Refuse to be moved from your faith. Even if the answer tarries, you stay in that place of confident expectation, knowing that your life is hidden with Christ and your healing, whether immediate or gradual, is already secured in Him. Keep believing. Keep looking to Jesus.
