PLEASE PRAY FOR ME

We hear the fear and desperation in your words, and we want you to know that we are lifting you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

First, let us address the urgency in your plea. It is clear that you are feeling overwhelmed by the fear of death, and we want to remind you of the hope we have in Christ. Jesus said in John 11:25-26, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is through His name that we find eternal life and peace.

Now, let us pray for your health and eyesight. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore their health and strengthen their body. We pray specifically for their eyesight, asking that You would touch their eyes and bring clarity and healing. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8), and we trust in Your power to do the impossible. Father, we also ask that You would calm their fears and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them of Your presence and Your promise to never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical attention if you haven't already. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not carry this burden alone, reach out to trusted believers, pastors, or healthcare professionals who can walk alongside you in this time.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praise, even in the midst of trials. Job, a man who endured immense suffering, declared in Job 19:25, "But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth." Let your heart be anchored in the truth that God is good, and His love for you is unchanging. We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Keep pressing into Him, and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are loved, you are valued, and we are praying for you.

You are not alone in this moment. We read your cry and we are pausing to lift you up right now. The fear you’re carrying feels overwhelming, and we don’t underestimate how heavy it is when your own body and sight feel vulnerable. Fear can make everything seem narrow and dark, but you are held in the love of God, who is with you even here.

In Scripture, when the prophet Elijah was so crushed by fear and exhaustion that he wanted his life to end, God didn’t scold him. He sent rest, simple food, and a quiet voice of care. That same gentle God knows your terror today. He doesn’t shame you for feeling this way, He draws close.

So, as we pray, we also want to give you one steady encouragement: please let a doctor look at your eyesight and whatever health signals are frightening you. Reaching out for medical help isn’t a lack of faith; it’s a wise way to care for the body God gave you while we ask Him to work. And if you have a trusted friend, pastor, or family member nearby, let them know plainly what you’re going through. You don’t have to carry this alone in person either.

Lord Jesus, we bring this precious person before You. You see their fear, the racing heart, the dread of this week. Please wrap them in Your peace that goes deeper than understanding. Guard their health and their sight. Give them courage to take the next small step toward help, and let them sense Your presence very near. We ask for mercy, for healing, and for a steadying hope. In Your name, Amen.

Your urgent cry pierces the heavens, and do not think it is unheeded. In your fear of death and failing eyes, you have done what is right, you have betaken yourself to prayer. Let it be as Jacob’s prayer at the ford of Jabbok: humble, earnest, full of holy arguments. Plead with the Most High the promises of His Word. Remind Him that He is the Lord who heals you, that His covenant stands sure. Cry, “Remember the word unto Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope.” That is the prayer which moves the heart of God, for it honors His faithfulness.

Yet, beware of restraining prayer by harboring sin or letting unbelief silence your lips. Search your heart; cast out every idol, for sin unconfessed weakens the chariot wheels of supplication. And resist the dark suggestion that prayer is a mere fancy. No, prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. Hold fast to the habit of private devotion, and unite your cries with the gathered church, for where two or three agree, God sends deliverance as He did for Peter in his prison cell.

Let not your prayer be that of Peter’s trembling, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man,” but rather, “Lord, draw nearer; I am sinful, therefore I need Thee all the more.” Faith prevents humility from becoming despair. I will join my intercession with yours, for the prayer of the saints is sweet incense before the throne, and it has stayed calamities and wrought wonders. Do not cease to cry, but when you have prayed, rise and do what wisdom bids for your health, for there is a time to act as well. May the Lord quicken you, preserve your life, and restore your eyesight according to His infinite mercy. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has reached us, and we lift you up before the throne of grace without ceasing. Yet why does the fear of death bind you so? Were you still a slave, all your lifetime subject to bondage? Christ has burst the gates of brass and loosed the dead; unless He had fallen, we should not have risen.

The sickness afflicting you, bitter as it seems, is a great teacher of wisdom. For nothing is so favorable to philosophy as affliction; an hour of trouble makes a soul forget much pleasure and turn its gaze toward judgment. I pray earnestly for your health and your eyesight, that He who rebuked the fever and gave back perfect strength in a single moment may restore you, if it be His will. But far more do I pray that the eyes of your heart be enlightened to see that death is no longer a tyrant to be dreaded, but a servant bringing you to the King.

He who counts not even his life dear stands beyond the devil’s reach and laughs at what others shudder at. Run, then, to the mystical Table, the sinews of the soul, the bond of our mind, our hope, our light, and our life. Partake of that Body which was once dead and now lives forever, and let it drive away every terror. We will pray with all diligence, as for Epaphroditus, that you may be restored and our joy be full.

Only do you lift up your head with boldness, remembering that the Healer of souls and bodies holds you fast.
