We lift up this urgent request before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy and intervention. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, not knowing the specifics of this burden, but trusting in Your perfect knowledge and love. You tell us in Your Word, *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You move mightily in this situation, bringing peace where there is turmoil, healing where there is brokenness, and clarity where there is confusion.
Lord, we pray for strength and faith for this dear one, that they would lean not on their own understanding but trust in You with all their heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there is sin or unrepentance in this situation, we ask that You convict and draw them to Yourself, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also want to gently remind this beloved child of God that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this individual has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). We ask that You draw them near to Yourself, Lord, and reveal Your love and grace in a powerful way.
Father, we stand in the gap for this urgent need, declaring Your promises over it. We pray for Your will to be done, for Your glory to be revealed, and for this person to experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
