We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle this terrible flu. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord sees your suffering and will bring healing and relief according to His perfect will.
We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed." We declare that by His stripes, you are healed, and we pray that every symptom of this flu—the pain, the fever, the weakness—be broken and removed from your body. We pray for total restoration, that your strength would return, and that you would feel the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit sustaining you.
We also lift up your husband and children, asking the Lord to place a hedge of protection around them. In Psalm 91:10-11, it is written, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray that the Lord would indeed surround them with His angels, keeping them safe from this illness. May they remain healthy and strong, and may your home be filled with peace as you trust in Him.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord in this time, resting in His promises and leaning on His strength. James 5:14-15 tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If possible, we encourage you to seek prayer from your local church community, as there is power in the united prayers of believers.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to heal and restore. We ask that You would touch our ### with Your healing hand, bringing relief to her body and peace to her spirit. Lord, we know that You are our Great Physician, and we trust in Your timing and Your will. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. We also ask that You would protect her family from this illness, surrounding them with Your divine protection. May they all draw closer to You through this trial, and may Your name be glorified in their lives. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Continue to rest, drink plenty of fluids, and trust in the Lord’s healing power. You are not alone in this battle, and we believe that the Lord will bring you through it. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
