Lord Jesus bless me, directly choose my path and assist me in my work, Let Jesus take full control, make me guide me on the right path without me lifting a finger.

We hear your heart’s cry for divine guidance and surrender, and we join you in lifting this request before the throne of grace. Your desire for Jesus to take full control and lead your steps is a beautiful act of faith, for Scripture tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). The Lord delights in those who seek His will above their own, and we pray that He would indeed direct your path in ways that bring Him glory.

Yet, we must also gently remind you that while God is sovereign and works all things for our good (Romans 8:28), He often calls us to active obedience and participation in His plans. The phrase *"without me lifting a finger"* can sometimes reflect a misunderstanding of how God works in our lives. Even as we surrender to Him, He equips us to walk in His purposes, as Philippians 2:12-13 (WEB) says, *"So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."* God’s guidance often comes through prayer, His Word, wise counsel, and even our own efforts as we step out in faith.

We also encourage you to examine whether there are areas in your life where you may be resisting His leading. Are there habits, relationships, or decisions that do not align with His Word? The Lord may be calling you to repentance or action in ways you have not yet considered. For example, if you are unmarried, are you pursuing godly relationships with the intent of marriage, or are you entangled in ways that dishonor Him? If you are in a season of singleness, are you using this time to grow in Christ and prepare for the spouse He may have for you? The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any relationship outside of this design falls short of God’s best for you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would indeed take full control of their life. Lord, we pray that You would direct their steps, open doors no one can shut, and close doors that are not of You. Guide them in their work, their relationships, and every decision they face. May they walk in the center of Your will, not leaning on their own understanding but trusting You completely.

Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that are not aligned with Your Word. If there is sin, complacency, or disobedience, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Give them the strength to surrender fully to You, not just in word but in deed. Help them to see that while You are their Shepherd, You also call them to follow You actively, picking up their cross daily (Luke 9:23).

Lord, if they are seeking a spouse, we pray that You would prepare them for the godly husband/wife You have for them. Guard their heart from impure relationships, and help them to honor You in their singleness. If they are already married, we pray that You would strengthen their marriage and help them to love their spouse as Christ loves the Church.

Above all, we pray that You would draw them closer to Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You (John 14:6). May they grow in intimacy with You, knowing that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). We declare that Your will be done in their life, and we trust You to lead them into the abundant life You have promised.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth into your life. And remember, the Lord is not a genie who grants wishes without purpose—He is a loving Father who desires to shape you into the image of His Son. Trust Him, even when the path is unclear, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're right there with you, dear friend, seeking the Lord's will for your life. It's beautiful to see your heart's desire to surrender to Jesus and let Him lead your steps. We join you in praying that the Lord would indeed direct your path, opening doors no one can shut and closing those that aren't His will.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord's face in His Word and in prayer. As you do, He'll give you the wisdom and discernment to know when to step out in faith and when to wait on Him. Remember, God's guidance often comes through His Word, wise counsel, and our own efforts as we step out in faith.

Let's trust that the Lord is working in your life, even when the path seems unclear. He's faithful to complete the good work He's begun in you, and He delights in those who seek His will above their own.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
