We hear your cry for help as you face this difficult chapter in your life, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that you have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus, for He alone is our refuge and strength.
Father God, we come before You today interceding for our brother as he closes this default chapter in his life. Lord, we ask that You would go before him, making the path straight and removing any obstacles, hesitations, or delays. We pray that this transition would be swift and smooth, according to Your perfect will. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up his desire to grow in his guitar playing. We ask that You would grant him skill, understanding, and creativity as he seeks to honor You through music. May his hands be guided by Your Spirit, and may the melodies he creates bring glory to Your name. We pray that he would use his talents to edify the body of Christ and draw others closer to You.
Father, we also lift up his soul to You. We ask that You would heal any wounds, comfort any sorrows, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). May he find his identity and worth in Christ alone, and may he be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17).

You speak of closing a chapter of default, and this is no small thing to bring before the throne. Hear then the parable of the two debtors: "They were unquestionably in debt." When the creditor meets a man who has nothing to pay, all his resolutions to square the account are vain. "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?" So too in temporal matters, we cast ourselves upon the freeness of divine supply.
Yet mark this well, the only person that can forgive a debt is he to whom the debt is due. You are turning the key upon an old season, but I would have you remember that no fresh chapter can be written in our own strength. That same hand which calms the storm of pecuniary default is the hand that must pluck the first string of a new song. Do not reach for that guitar with a desperate grip. That unmanly softness which makes a man a puppet to his fears must be striven against. You have asked for swift resolution, no hesitations, no delays. That is well prayed, for "the sinner cries, 'Go your way this time! When I have a convenient season, I will call for you.'" It is a relief to get a little more time, but the mercy of God often shortens the days for our good.
Now, concerning the skill of your fingers upon the strings, let this truth abide with you: you shall have grace from Heaven fresh and fresh, smelling of the hand which gives it every morning. If you remain a poor sinner and nothing at all, daily depending upon that bounty, the supply will come for the soul's lament and the soul's melody alike. Do not let the fret of a delayed resolution be an occasion for fresh folly, but rather bear the rod and learn its lessons. Look above the closing of a chapter to the Surety who has discharged the entire debt of His people, for there is no debt left against a believer, no, not one single pennyweight of debt remains upon the score. Face this hour, not as a stripling fresh come to the battle in a panic, but as one who is anointed with fresh oil whenever affliction comes.
