We lift you up in prayer as you prepare for your final semester exam in obstetrics and gynecology, trusting that God will grant you wisdom, clarity, and peace during this time. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask the Lord to fill your mind with understanding, to calm any anxiety, and to guide your hand as you take this exam. You have worked diligently, and we pray that your efforts will be blessed with success, not for your own glory, but so that you may use your knowledge and skills to serve others with excellence and compassion.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear in John 14:6 that *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true hope, peace, and eternal life. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
As you study, remember Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Do not rely solely on your own strength but lean on Him, for His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We also encourage you to commit your plans to the Lord, as stated in Proverbs 16:3: *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."*
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is preparing for her final exam in obstetrics and gynecology. Lord, You are the giver of all wisdom and knowledge, and we ask that You fill her mind with understanding and recall as she studies and takes this exam. Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Grant her clarity of thought, sharpness of memory, and the ability to apply what she has learned with confidence.
We pray that You would guide her hands and her mind during the exam, that she would answer each question with accuracy and discernment. Father, let this test be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that she may glorify You in all she does. If it is Your will, grant her success not just for her own sake, but so that she may use her education to serve others with love, integrity, and excellence, reflecting Your heart in all she does.
Lord, we also pray that if our sister does not yet know You as her Savior, that You would draw her to Yourself during this time. Open her heart to receive Your truth, that she may place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Let her see that her worth and identity are found in You, not in her achievements or the approval of others.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for her life. May she walk in faith, knowing that You are with her every step of the way. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
